There is this guy who, before reaching lvl 30, played only co op vs bots and on getting lvl 30 he decided to play a normal game. There is another guy who played only normals all the way to lvl 30. How fast will the hidden mmr of the first guy reach the hidden mmr of the second guy, if first guy wins a lot?
The second guy doesn't necessarily have higher MMR than the first guy. MMR goes up and down as you win and lose. If second guy has an approximately equal number of wins and losses, both of them might already have the same MMR as they reach 30.
But normal matchmaking takes number of wins into account when making matches too, not just MMR. So when the first guy queues up, he's going to be put into a game with people who have the default MMR and a very low number of wins.
