Custom Champion Groups in Champion Select

Have you ever thought about how the current arrangement of champions is a total mess? I mean, it is alphabetical alright, but they don't even have their names written underneath. Now what about if players were able to use their own custom grouping of champions so they could be much easier to pick? Say like arrangement by roles, by most played, recently played, highest mastery, exact lanes (champions most used in top lane for example) and finally, creating groups and naming them, like: "These champions I play badly, these champions are my most favorite, etc"

yes this needs to happen. For instance say i am going top but can't deice who i actually want to play, my life would be so much easier if i could just look at a pool of the say 10 top laners i have instead of scrolling through 110 different champions trying to decide.

One more thing PLEASE LET US GROUP CHAMPIONS AND MASTERY/RUNE PAGES TOGETHER. i should be able to bind brand with my ap rune page and mid lane ap mastery page so that when I pick him it automatically defaults to those set ups.

But what about champs that fill multiple roles? I main Pantheon top lane and he's mostly used as a jungler.

Though this is a good idea. When I'm put into a fill role I often have trouble figuring out which champ is meant for it (best or otherwise).

i thought he was mostly used as a top laner?

but anyways, you could give the users the option to make their own groups and also have overlap

I've seen him more argued as a jungler. He's probably underrepresented in toplane with all the juggernauts and other toplane champs recently.

I would love this, granted i usually play whatever champion fits my fancy at the moment, but i have a hell of a time finding certain champions during the ban phase when i have to pick bans. So this would be useful in at least that regard for me to set up a group with common bans so i don't have to freak out and A) forget about the Search bar or B) can't type and end up randomly clicking someone so as not to not ban.

why...you can literally just type in the search bar what you want. you can even type in a specific role if you aren't decided. like when I am going adc and not sure who I'm going to pick I just type in "marksman" and then all the adcs show up (and even some pseudo adcs like kennen/teemo because they are listed as marksman)

Do it by role. Let the player decide for their own profile though.

I like this. Add another tab to the profile menu or add to champion tab labeled "Champion Roster". From there you can set your own roster kinda like the item sets. You could label them "my tops", "my mid", or however else you would want to label them. And put the champs in there you want to play in that role. Personally speaking they would be quite convienent for me.
