Every game most of the people on both teams have very few games played with there champs. About 60% of the time theres someone whos first timing it. And im wondering why am i the only one who has a decent amount of games played with the champs i play? Do most people just not play that much?
Or they just like trying out new champs/finding new champs they like playing. I have a core group of about 4 champs that I play a lot, but I am still always looking for new ones I enjoy, or a role I need (just bought Leona last night for example, and am in the process of learning her)

well not all of us main like one or two champs i have 3-6 champs i can play in every role and i switch them up depending mood/counter
its just fate i guess lol idk
a lot of people play the game for fun so they just pick whatever. Only the people who are serious about climbing have that kind of mentality
I'm learning champs as I go. I started Thresh and got him all the way near 100k before Tahm came out and I played him til level 5. Then I played Braum to level 5. Then I played Janna to level 5. Now I'm leveling Nautilus.
So I have champs I've played a lot, but until I round out my stable of support champs, you will probably see me on champs I am just picking up.
Personally, I have a couple of mains for each position: Top: Gnar, Mao'kai, Sion Jungle: Amumu, Sej Mid: Viktor, Ahri, Donger ADC: Sivir, Kalista, Corki, Jinx, Lucian (I play a lot of different ADCs) Support: Soraka, Thresh
I have a lot of time on these champs.
I play everything I can get my hands on. And only recently started PvP. So there's that too.
If you think a decent number of games means almost solely playing that champion, then it's because most people don't do that. Just because someone is first timing their champ in ranked doesn't mean they aren't good at that champ. Just because they don't have level 5 mastery on a champ doesn't mean they aren't good at the champ. I don't think a lack of playing ranked is as much the reason for a lack of games on each champion. That is also a contributor though.
