Do all abilities do magic damage in TFT?
Including abilities like Garen’s and Miss Fortune’s. In normal League they do physical damage but I’m not sure what kind of damage they do in TFT.

Generally speaking yes all abilities do magic damage. Garen and MF both deal magic damage when using their abilities.
Now there are some exceptions, such as Draven and Rengar deal all physical damage. But the majority of abilities will be magic.
There is a list on the wiki here that you can look over if you want to see specifics about a champion's damage.
Most characters with active abilities deal additional spell damage. All basic attacks deal physical damage. There are some exceptions, like the other guy already brought up.
Spells deal spell damage.
Exceptions are every manaless champion, Rengar and Volibear.
I really don't know why Volibear's doesn't but it just doesn't. I originally thought it was cuz TFT was coded to where physical damage procced on-hits but GP procs on-hits with his spell that deals spell damage now so I guess there's no logic to it other than if it says it procs on-hits, it procs on-hits.
