Something I don’t understand about Akali and Vayne.

Isn’t all long term stealth supposed to be camouflage. Wasn’t that specifically added so certain champions can’t stall forever and one shot the moment someone squishy is within a one mile radius.

Akali: Why does her W last so long and make her invisible. That ability alone breaks the champion. Either that smoke should last an extremely short time to be fair invisibility like Talon’s R or she should be camouflaged in it, not invisible.

Vayne: Gets to be invisible so often that it should be considered long term stealth and thus should be camouflage. Otherwise you have to either cc her to death or one shot her the moment she is visible.

Again they turned stealth into two different things to give strengths and weaknesses to champions.

Camouflage being long term stealth but you get revealed by control wards and champions if you get too close.

Invisibility being stealth that can’t be revealed by those two but last a very short amount of time.

Why do these two champions get to ignore that rule. They need to have more weaknesses in their kit because we can see how oppressive they are without them.

What? You know what long term and short means right? Since it seems like you don't. You can't roam with vayne or akali invisibility meaning it's not breaking the game.

THE WHOLE reason for the invisibility changes was fix the problem of roaming invisibility.

Also you can easily hit akali skill shots and vayne can easily be cced and also skill shots like they're not breaking the game.

Also mechanics that reveal invisibility are huge counters to Vayne but do absolutely nothing against Akali.

Yeah they do nothing for Akali since you can easy know where she will move in her w since it is not big meaning hitting skill shots is not hard and kaisa is the most played adc and her q counters akali hard.

Except that Camouflage allows their champions to move freely around the map, ignoring most of the enemy vision and ambushing their opponents.

Akali's Shroud limits her movement in a very small area and it is very easy to spot compared to a camouflaged character. Moreover, with the included "reveal" effect when damaged, you can easily guess her position by using AoE. Her Stealth is mostly to counter targeted Attacks.

As for Vayne, she needs to Auto-Attack in order to use her Stealth again, making it great in combat and lackluster in avoiding vision/map movement.

And, frankly, they aren't the only exception to the rule. Shaco has an Invisibility of 4.5 seconds when Maxed. Kha with an upgraded ult can go invisible 3 times for 2 seconds (so 6 seconds per Ult). And these two barely have any restrictions on their mobility. The opposite, Teemo can stay invisible as long as he wants while having restrictions.

Overall, I don't really find the issue of having conditional invisibility. They just have different conditions from camouflaged characters and different targets to accomplish.

Akali is SO HOT3 votes

Akali is confined to a small space. Camouflage champs can go wherever they want.

i'm telling folks man, that shroud ability is unfuckingplayable, people think it matters what type of stealth it is or wtfever. listen

That's the time akali gets to get extended to by LEAVING stealth multiple times, Don't come comment like that throwing random numbers that you clearly don't understand around, and yes it's a long time if ur standing in the middle but u can just walk away and badabing badabing countered.

You want these people to walk away from Akali's W? Can I have what you're having please?

Akali gets dumpstered in trades where she can't use W, and how you get those trades? Start one but don't commit just to bait her W, if she doesn't use it it's free damage, if she does, you move away and go back in when she's on cooldown.

But you think they will do that?

Both champions can be "Revealed" using a sweeper - So long as your entire kit isn't point+click targeted spells(So as long as you're not on Trist/Vayne basically?) you can still aim your attacks at the "Shadow" of them that gets revealed. I use it to dump on Akali every time I face her.

too bad that akali goes at 1000 miles per hour in her shroud and vayne goes at 500

Exactly, they have mobility to mitigate their weakness if they are revealed.

Readup on the ability

what?

Akali has changes incoming. One of the proposed changes is to remove the bonus duration on her shroud. The max duration will be 7 seconds at max rank, and since the cooldown isn't changing with rank anymore, she's likely going to start maxing it last for the extra damage on her E. So 5 seconds for the majority of the game.

Akalis whole kit is weak because of lesser players such as urself they keep nerfing her, akali is gutted and they want to keep nerfing her, stop, learn to counter her instead of playing the hero in the forms and then we can talk about how she is breaking the game

Vayne's stealth isn't "long term".

It's 1 second per application.

No Vayne sits in stealth for a full 1 second, it's a huge DPS loss.

A single 1 second invisibility is fine but when she can do it over and over again, it’s just a Kha’Zix ult on steroids.

This post is one of the reasons Akali was nerfed into such an unplayable state that she has to be revamped even though she was reworked recently ( relatively speaking).

Please stop saying Akali has no counterplay when any mage with some cc and a brain can easily poke her out since she has no sustain without gunblade.
