Gunslingers+blademasters or pirates are the real deal though, and for some reason their apperance rate in the shop is sky high.
Like i´ve been trying to run wild/imperials and shapeshifters and other comps but i just keep getting a ton of pirates and gunslingers, to the point where i am basically humming this every tft game :

Everybody in your match is building Yordles? Build sorcerers, since they don't dodge abilities, and revolver makes it so you can't be dodged. Everybody's building Demon's? Build things that don't use mana, Build Glacial and Freeze them, or let this be the match you build Yordles and dodge them.
But dear GOD do rng losses from buffs not proccing irk me. Ever seen a full Glacial build fail to actually freeze anyone? I have.

That said, if your in match with 1 or 2 people building demons and the rest building yordles, you should still build sorcs. Why? Because top 4 is winning, not just first. You might beat one of the demon users since they are fighting for units, and you will best all the yordles, so you come in 2nd or 3rd, which means you win.

There are plenty of decent-to-good builds.
A Tier 2/3 comp with almost all three stars will still beat a Tier 1 comp with a handful of 1-2 stars and MAYBE one three star.
AlienPrimate2 votesI can confirm. I beat 2 demon comps and a ranger/glacial comp by going void brawlers. I had T3 reksai, nid, ww, braum, and kha with T2 cho and volibear while each of the other 3 were sitting on a single T3.

If you're trying to build Demons or Yordles every game -- that's why you're losing. You're forcing comps because they're "Meta" instead of using what you're given and playing what you know other people AREN'T playing, and trying to counter what people ARE playing.
This isn't a game where you're going to find continued success spamming the same strats every game. You have to adapt on the fly. You have to get creative.
Spamming meta strats might get you up to like.... silver-gold. But after that you're gonna get hardstuck until you learn to actually apply some strategy.

I wonder if this is true. I forced Glacial/Rangers every game all the way to Plat IV. Now, I may have grabbed random stuff at the start to keep from getting knocked out early, but I transitioned to the same end game almost every game.

You open with some combination of Nobles, one of which should be Vayne. That should get you through the earlier rounds. You want to expand that to Noble + ranger as soon as possible. Add Mord in once you've got Noble + Rangers (or before if you get Mord before another Ranger). Once you've got an Ashe, and assuming you've managed to pick up a Braum, your lineup will look something like:
Vayne Ashe Braum Garen Fiora/Lucian (1 of these) Mordekaiser
With this you'll have:
3 Nobles 2 Glacial 2 Knights 2 Rangers
From there, you're going to want to fish for Leona, Sejuani, Kindred, Varus (You probably have Varus on your bench if not on the field already). You'll replace Fiora/Lucian with Leona and Garen with Sejuani. Once you manage to grab these, your composition should look something like:
Vayne Ashe Varus Kindred Braum Leona Mordekaiser Sejuani
And you'll have the following synergies:
2 Glacial 2 Knights 4 Rangers 2 Phantom 2 Guardian
I try to get a Spatula from the early carousels when no one cares about Spatulas. If I get one, I look for a Giant's Belt and turn Vayne into a Glacial for the 4th Glacial. As for other items, you'll want to stack your items on Vayne, preferably including Rapid Fire Cannon. The exception to this is Spear of Shojin, which you'll want on Ashe. If you have spare defensive items, those go on Sejuani.
As far as Champion RNG goes, you need to aim for at least a Silver of the following:
Vayne Ashe Varus Sejuani
If you can get these to Silver fairly early, you'll most likely make it at least into Top 5 or Top 4. It's not uncommon to reach Top 3 with no Gold champions. If you can get Vayne to Gold that's the champ you want Gold, but otherwise it's more important to have every Champion at least Silver rather than chasing down a Gold.

Barkley2 votesRapidfire Cannon murders yordles. Anything that allows you to spam spells more (Shojin, Archangels) murders yordles. They're immune to attacks, not damage.

Spamming what is OP doesn't work when everyone else is spamming it, good way to lose if you aren't looking what others are going.
