those games, where you get into champ select, someone autolocks, someone steal someone's position, and someone starts calling everyone trash for not him get his lane.

I thank you mysterious man in my last champ select. You removed a lot of stress from my day.

Reminds me of a time back in season 4 where and friend and I we're duo Q and had to dodged twice from trolls. On our next match another troll appeared and we couldn't take another bullet and a teammate typed. "I'm not asking you to remember me, I'm asking you not to forget this plague!" and left the queue.

I don't remember his name but I do remember that trolls that forced his hand.

It's a shame we're six seasons in and we're still at a point where someone who just wants to play the game has to take a bullet if some degenerate is trolling in champ select. Countless community solutions to the problem but we still have to let the trolls win as that's the League of Legends way.

Should ranked have a READY CHECK after picks?

Okay.... So, I'm on a 30 minute soft ban for dodging multiple ranked games today. The problem here is that the times in which I dodged, I feel, that if I went into the game I would obviously lose more LP because one of my teammates stole a character that someone else obviously had picked out. He had even said it in chat. We had made a deal that he would first pick me morg and I would last pick him garen. Our jungler has no choices and has said nothing at this time. Enemy team locks in Garen. I asked him who he would like me to choose, he told me xin. pick came up for him, he got me morg, I put xin as my portrait to let the team know that I was taking him, if it wasn't obvious enough by the conversation we had just had in the lobby. The jungler picked xin, and couldnt trade with us, didn't say anything and left us both hangin with SECONDS to choose left. I ask the guy what he wants and I ask Mundo? He said he didn't know how to play him, but i had to choose somebody with only 5 seconds left on the timer. Xin still said nothing after we asked him about why he chose xin as his pick and he couldnt trade us.

I closed my client immediately because I figured that my silver/bronze team wouldn't mind me loosing out on 3 lp or whatever it is for dodging a possible loss of 15+ lp, I know I would have rather gotten the 3 LP loss than fought with a team that was shorthanded because some A hole.

Why punish people more, by having a softban on top of a loss of LP? Especially if someone is dodging because of someone that isn't taking the dynamic of ranked play serious?

I can understand a softban on a normal.... But sometimes you just don't want to lose out on the 20 lp because some person wants to be a dick.

I propose that you create another ready check after picks, if one team votes 4/1 on not going for the game give them a 3lp loss. if both teams vote 4/1, give no lp loss. - Lose the softban. I think it will promote people to make better picks for their roll. while it is understandable to do things off meta, the choice should be up to the team, not the individual. For people who are solo queuing -ESPECIALLY IN LOWER ELO (SILVER/BRONZE)- I think this would be a tremendously great thing to do.

Some of us will never be able to climb out of the depths of lower ELO because we choose to play and TRY to have fun with our time but we get troll picks and people stealing champs, being unresponsive etc., yet in the end some of us are losing out really bad trying to climb a broken F'ing ladder.

Please, anyone who is having the same issues I am having Feel free to vote on my poll and Discuss things like this on this post. Lets get a lot of attention to the problem.
