So 1 item can completely ruin your entire game, good to know.

The item that completely disarms your champs, yea that one... it's completely bullshit and should be removed. I'm playing a game where I spend countless rounds trying to gather champs into 3-stars and creating items they can use, just to basically have my entire team fucked because 1 items disarms my entire enemy team. And you can't separate your champs or they get whipped out by damn assassins. What dumb fuck thought this item was ok? I sat in first place almost an entire round for a good 30 minutes just for 1 item to completely delete my team within the last 4 players.

Items getting disabled was a huge turn off for me. Dropped the game mode after they released the hextech class.

You're describing Hextech synergy, not an item. And it's pretty much on level with Phantom Synergy given its temporary and you can position around it.

Yes you have to pick between Assassins or Hextech for your positioning answers, but if you're scouting the players there should be a higher quantity of one or the other. That and its never going to hit your whole team unless they draft 4 Hextech, which would be an insane thing to do given that none of them have overlapping synergies. Jinx and Vi support Brawler and Gunslinger with just an extra unit, but you're going to suffer not having buffs for Jayce/Camille and having them just take up slots that you could bench them over.

If you're top 4 vs Hextech you definitely should be positioning your core carry to survive 7s and have several items on different champs. At that point you easily have 7 units if not more, you should have about 5 complete items at least too. You can still have a hypercarry with 3 items and sprinkle your other items on units one tile away, if you're worried about assassins you should have a junk tank like Warwick or Garen sitting next to your hypercarry anyway and that can create the space needed to avoid Hextech too.

Its an annoying bullshit synergy, but its not unbeatable. Hell given all the broken shit they added to the game with the Brawler's Glove we need Hextech to remain as is or the game will just turn into Assassin Tactics and stay there forever.

The best way I found to deal with this is having a strong frontline and hope that your backline can take out important units like that.

That's really the only thing I know that kinda works when dealing with stuff like sword breaker, hush or even glacials.

Same with the silence item depending on your setup. Or glacial. RNG+AA based CC is just a stupid design that's incredible frustraiting to face.

item 3110 is far more powerful and disruptive. It's extremely common to see Pyke holding 2 or even 3 of them at once in challenger. I think the big source of frustration with Sword Breaker is the current lack of a decent animation to communicate why the FUCK those units are just standing there doing NOTHING.

This shit is what pushed me away from this game mode. Oh yay! i finally get the items i wanted after so many hopes, risks, gambles, prayers and even blood sacrifices along with max star champs to only be fucker over by some hextech mechanic bullshit.

I mean counterplay is one thing, but this is just overkill.
