Infernal Akali should be changed to Shadowfire Akali

I am all together disappointed with how the in game model looks compared to the splash art.

There is quite a few things I'd like to see changed about this skin before it ever hits live. I first believe this skin should not fall into the Infernal series, but should be classified with the Shadowfire skin line... like the skin Kindred has. When I look at this:

I see an array of colors similar to this:

Not... this... https://imgur.com/263ly9l

This entire color scheme on the base is different then her actual splash art displays.

I don't like how her face is blacked out first of all. it's just blocky and lazy tbh. I'd love to see the gradient red added to her skin to make it really pop! Make her horns look sorta like how wolf's mask does in Shadowfire. Her weapons should have more of a fiery affect coming off of them, sorta like the tail on wolf in Shadowfire! Change the bottoms from dirty yellow to white, make the golds a little more vibrant. Then you got a skin I'll buy!

Honestly I think the pallete and feel closest resemble Ashen Lord Aurelion Sol. Ashen Akali???

i Agree, the in game model doesnt match the splash at all, kinda dissapointing, it looks very lazy

I like the color scheme of shadow fire more tbh

I think the basic idea behind shadowfire is to have a contrast between heavenly and infernal fire, with Kindred being an angelic being, while wolf is more of a demon.

Meanwhile Infernal seems to be based around fire elemental warriors, which definitely fits infernal Akali(who also shares several design choices with Diana, like the lava body, the fire hair, the golden armor pieces and the charred body)

I just wish she had the bright red instead of the orange. I like both the splash and models color schemes, but I prefer the splash.

I was a skeptic, but you have a solid point here

I do so much agree! That where exactly my thoughts when i saw the skin first time!

Her "infernal" skin as much more accordances with Shadow Fire Kindred and Ashen Lord AurelionSol .

And this is not even the colour scheme, its especially the hole design of her outfit and trousers etc.

  1. no to shadowfire
  2. yea it does look lazy that they just blacked her face, now akali looks racist (jokes)

Maybe we should rename Shadowfire Kindred into Infernal Kindred. After all, why have a splintered, fire based skin line when there's a more expansive one already in the game?

Honestly thought it'd be Nightbringer Akali by the looks of it, since Shadowfire is more explitily a reference to a Diablo-esque 'angel vs demon' thing iirc.

It really doesn't represent the splash art well, the fire should be a lot more red. It would be a lot more aesthetically pleasing as well.

EDIT: I received the skin(and so did many others) by owning Crimson Akali. A red skin.

Riot come on.
