So what's the point of the Yordle buff?

Genuine question, what is it supposed to do? Because whenever I use it I'm usually the first to get eliminated, and it only really has 2-5 misses occur in the rounds I use the comp.

60% really doesn't feel like much at all :P

Wild is easy to get and counters it so absolutely that its not worth it IMO

You can't dodge skills and crits.

It really all depends on the enemy you face.

Yordle can only dodge BASIC attacks. All other damage like spells and AoE goes through.

If you get your Yordle team in shape and have an extra damage dealer then usually you can kill some enemies before they have a full mana bar and do spell damage to you. But if the enemy does a lot of spell damage from the start then Yordle is not that good.

If you get the 9 yordle buff its worth it, practically unkillable... However if you think about it, its pretty hard to do... I did it twice on Sunday though you just have to be very specific about your approach. You need 3 saptulas minimum and it works better if you can get a yordle mitten from the third or fifth carousel round. One game I got really lucky and got 2 mittens but got a force of nature so I was able to have all 9 yordles plus a lvl 2 jinx/lvl2 kaisai out.

Really though, I got 9 yordles once with 1 hp left and beat the guy that had 70 hp twice and he just swapped in two more wild for the 4p bonus and I was toast, so yeah its easily counter-able.

It beats Gunslinger, Blademaster, and Rangers but loses to Sorcerers, Elementalists, and Wilds.

Unless your RNG is terrible 60% dodge basically more than doubles the effective hp of your units vs autos. Its practically a wad of armor just for drafting 6 Yordles. Granted, you either need Spatula or Trist to make the comp, but its generally worth the investment.

OFC the Yordle comps do have the issue of lacking a real carry. You have Gnar and Poppy which are frontliners. You have Lulu who's a support. Tristana is a Gunslinger who won't get synergy for her damage. That leaves Kennen and Veigar. Both have good damage, but their abilities are really delayed and they won't have the persistent damage of a Jinx or Draven.

However, given Lulu + Veigar are in the comp all you need is a 3rd Sorcerer to get more damage. Aurelion Sol and Karthus can make up for that weakness pretty well (Karthus is still slow to go off but he actually wipes teams if he can ult).

So RNG based. I have had 6 yordles that never seem to dodge. Face an opponent (different match all together) and all I see is miss, miss, miss, miss and I'm like wth, they are dodging everything.. Upon closer inspection, they have 3 yordles that dodge more in one round than I seem to all game combined w/ 6.. I get rng but the calculating needs to be better so someone building 3 doesn't dodge more than you building 6... BTW RNG hates me..
