Ocean+Mages is so Good that any other team composition is a waste of time, so you basically get third position of better if you can make the 3 mages composition in the minion rounds.

Also, Olaf being broken and people playing him just because he is broken, even if he doesn't fit in the team composition.

I don't agree with your assessments. The meta ebbs and flows. If they're going mages, switch in 2-4 mystics and get something like trap claw.
