I haven't been able to playing him in years (because his kit is so outdated) and his lore has been out of place since the Academy of War disappeared from the lore.

I am absolutely not excited for his rework. I have a feeling his new gameplay is going to involve jumpscares and I'm sensitive
More nervous than excited. Most of the reworks lately have been ridiculously OP, and then Riot spends the next few years nerfing and buffing them in every patch. The cycle is tedious.
I'm more hyped for his cosmetic standards
He's supposed to be scary but he's such a goof in game, except for the praetorian one, where he is a mindless murder machine
So hopefully more spooky, less goofy
I'm actually really excited if they have a sort of cinematic for him. Imagine like a campfire scene where children tell ghost stories of fiddlesticks, and there's a jump scare at the end where he rips open the screen or something.
I'm more excited for the Volibear one, soon we will no longer have to play polar bear simulator with a bear that has pancake feet.
Not really. I'm one of those who don't understand what's wrong with Fiddle's kit. Imho, it needed an update, not a rework. Its R is iconic, its W is the quintessence of its kit, its E is amazingly useful and the Q is a nice touch. Besides, if Riot is going to keep just its R, we'll be left with a single life-absorbing champion (that is, Vladi) in the entire game. I like Riot's ideas on a jumpscare Fiddle, but they could have simply reworked his Q and passive, maybe his R too.
He's gonna get stealth/invisibility I just know it
Watch fiddle be release broken. Then have half of his kit removed because there is no to little counter play like these poor, unfortunate, fools.
