How Do People Get So Many 3* Champs?

Surprisingly I won but damn this person had five 3* champs. Like most I ever got was three 3*'s.

the player in question likely re-rolled a ton before leveling up and spent all that money buying those champs. which is why you won.
You won because of 2 stars mage Lux and 6 mages. Double Lux ulti has a great chance to kill an enemy and refresh her mana with 50, so practically Lux ulti each second. If a mage Lux is Ocean then 6 ocean + 6 mages comp would be the most powerful comp in TFT 2.
RNG and when you roll. Rolling before you hit krugs opposed to leveling up gives you the best chance at 1 cost units. Next level chance is ok but less.. It's tough though because if everyone else is leveling up to get higher champs earlier, you will get beat due to you lack of units on the board compared to theirs. Even then, RNG often times won't give you what you want when you want it so makes you even weaker. a 2 star higher cost unit is way better than a 3 star 1 cost in almost all situations. I've beat plenty of people who have had a ton of 3 star low cost units by having better synergy and just stronger 2 star higher cost units.. I'd take a 2 star mundo, sion, olaf over a 3 star renek, jax any day.
You got 2* lux and complaining? xD
I have seen lux ONCE in my invertory and only because i was 1st somehow for whole game.
Now... tell me again how RNG hates you xD
