Ok, now that the game is actually playable in NA

I still find it fun, as I did before.

But with more time in the game I am noticing trends arise.

  1. Noble buff is incredibly overpowered. I’ve seen rank one ranged units with noble buff completely roll 2 ranked 2 units.

  2. Items are problematic and feel unfun to play against due to being both a. Too reliant on good RNG b. Completely overpowered Item strength needs to be toned down, or items need to become less RNG. One, the other, or both would work nicely in this situation.

Some other combos are pretty crazy as well. However I just don’t think any of them trump the ease and strength of noble buff.

All of this being said, I’m super hype about this game and I hope they keep it. It’s fun, relatively stress free, and even affords you the benefit of enjoying a game without the danger of being held hostage or being forced to commit time with no way out.

Also the unit mechanics leave open room for so much. This could evolve into a real special piece of work.

There could be things like Kayn who becomes a demon or ninja unit based on the board pieces you have, Riven who could have the same setup as Yas and maybe even benefit them both a rivalry buff. Ori could be a robot sorcerer, and so many more things it would be impossible to list.

For all the flaws this game boasts, and for being just “another auto chess game” it’s a really fun experience that I hope they stick with and hone to it’s potential.
