Everyone acts like Riven just teleports instantly to you at level six and just uses black magics to instakill you.

Her combo and initiation is incredibly telegraphed if you know what to look for.

True, I guess ill just walk away as morde. Oh right im morde, and have the slowest movespeed in the game. Let alone her q dash cancel gives her quite a bit of gap close.

If im not freezing by tower, then I have jungle issues as well. She can lock me down, long enough for jungle to lock me down, which will be long enough for her to be laughing at the fact morde doesnt get shield when he is stunned.

But its ok, I know Im garbo and the only rivens I ever play against are plat/diamond riven mains.

I also dont know jack about morde

YES! This! I thought I was one of the only ones who thought that Mordekaiser's destroys Riven, but when I look on champion.gg, it's the exact opposite. I've picked up Mordekaiser for the past few weeks, and he is so much fun. I just can't find the right build I usually go rylais -> Protobelt -> tank. But idk about this one

You can indeed choose to not die in the early game. If you don't give an actual fuck about cs. Talking here as a wukong main and yes, giving up half your cs is the better option if you're facing a riven or pantheon or any enemy toplaner that isn't a full tank and is ahead. Lategame wukong will stomp anyways :)

Riot only buffed the Wind slash part of her ult, you know, the execute that's a skillshot. Besides that, everything is the same. People made it sound like Riot buffed every single aspect of Riven.

No. She's not the same. A buff is a buff, no matter how big or small it may be. It certainly didn't make Riven weaker, did it?

Not saying she didn't need a buff, but she's just so unfun to lane against when she's good that people can't stand to see her getting any sort of buff.

I think better to wait for Champion.gg to integrate the data and wait then.

No reason to keep buffing Riven anymore, no reason to buff Lee more. They are weaker than when they were in their primes, dominating the meta, but they got rotated out. Either they'll rotate in, or you can just nerf the things which have been the "Rivens" and "Lee Sins" as of late.

frozen thing got a pretty big nerf on pbe. I don't remember if it came this patch or next one. they removed 10ad and gave it 50hp in return. That removing a gold value of item 1036 just to give it the gold value of item 1028 divided by 3. Its not a lot buts its a nerf.

But yeh, it took people like a month or two to start playing the new trinity force ekko after tf buff. The riven buffs will show their head in the next month, not in the first day lol

I would honestly be surprised if this happens. Riven might literally be the only melee assassin-ish champion that will never build tank and do well. She scales so well with "bonus" AD all around her kit and have very little utility to make up for the lack of damage in a tank build.

If your kit's utility and base damage are high enough. You'll get played tank. Riven's kit has mobility, shield, knock up, stun. Not strait up tank, but fighter worthy utility. Good enough to build her more tanky than glass cannon.

Just wait for it, trinity force ekko didn't magically appear in the first week either.

i never even cared about riven buffs pretty much everyhting i play/main counters both riven and zed so i never really got all the hate

as for riven i can deal with her easy enough i don't die to her she wont be able to fight me

my problem with riven is something else entirely its the fact that she has near unlimited mobility which allows her to roam so quickly get back to lane quickly if needed etc etc

it lets the riven decide what happens when and he can almost alwyas get away now this is one thing, the other thing is she only scales with like 2 stats AD and CDR and she get tons of both in addition to all the pen she needs from 2 items

just 2 items turn her into a monster thats kind of annoying alot of champions need a multitude of stats to gain power like cdr ap health mana some movespeed

Not riven though just ad and cdr and then later p[erhaps some pen but she get everythign she needs from buying 2 items Makes her gain power too easily whilst being too safe due to mainly mobility but also cc and pushing poweraswell as being a lane bully to actually do something about early on

Everyone has a Bias. It sounds to me like you're biased against her, of course I can't confirm that, I can only guess.

But I have experience and like the rest of the people who have an understanding of Riven, regardless of rank, I know that the buffs are not a huge massive deal. They just make her execute a bit more execute like.

well yea when you don't have to play against master/high diamond level riven mains I can see why you think it wouldn't be a big deal, but they already succeed greatly with the champion and little things like that make her even worse. She wasn't struggling in high elo, just competitive and these "world patches" are a pain in the ass for people that play at a decent mmr but arent professional.
