Ever since the redesign of Trundle, the splash art of his two old skins have been EXTREMELY misrepresentative of what the skin actually looks like.
Unlike other redesigned champs like Sion, who's update on his other skins still look like the splash art and the old models, Trundles old skins adopted his new frost king look, but his splash art is of rotting troll OG trundle that looks nothing like the models.
They said after they finished all the classic splashes they would work on skin splashes.
Skin splashes don't get updated.
i'm sure riot is "getting to it" just like replays and long-form champion lores.
I don't see this happening.
Not even Garen's skin splashes were updated when he got his VU back in 2013.
Not saying I wouldn't love to see the update, but don't count on it.
Dreadknight got the chinese splash recently, do that doesn't count.
Pharaoh Nidalee Yeah, they could use some updates to better represent Trundle after his changes, I mean have you seen Piltover Customs Heimerdinger, its so radically different from its in game design (Still looks extremely badass though.) Trundle isnt the only one who suffers from this though I mean most of Tristana's splashes are now strange to look at because of her VU. (Please Rito Fix Riot Girl T's Splash)
Rioters stated a few times that once they finish updating all outdated default splashes, they will move to the outdated skins splashes. :)
