Dagger of time: new defensive item for ADs

Hey guys,

I've been thinking as an AD how I can't counterplay quick burst assassins like rengar , Leblanc, or even zed. Their dmg happens in the blink of an eye and heal can't really counter them. If they are fed I'll die quick before I can react and supports cant do much vs that huge insta burst.

So I thought about the perfect item that could help me survive for 1 extra second: hourglass! This would allow me team to hopefully position and peel the assassins / divers. However only currently APs can build hourglass, I think it would be useful for ADs as well

So lemme know what you guys think. Is this item too OP for ADs?? Or is it a good for counterplay vs assassins.

Not before APs get Bulletdrinker, that completely nullifies every single AD damage dealer's burst for only 1300 gold.

Not every items needs a counter-part for a similar stat.

Not every MR item needs a counterpart with armor.
Not every AP item needs a counterpart with AD.

People have been suggesting that an item like this be made since Zhonya's was created years ago. It was not, and is still not, a good idea.

The reason ADC's don't have stasis on an item is because the support is supposed to protect the ADC. There are champion picks that can make it very difficult for a Rengar to assassinate, if you didn't counterpick the Rengar you can always have the support carry a pink ward and stay with your team grouped up.

AD Already have Maw and hexdrinker plus the benefit of being able to kite and fight from range. You can't have everything mate, I mean you deal more sustained manaless damage than mages, you can kite and shred tanks before they get to you as well as any bruiser/assassin with no gap closer, what more could you possibly ask for?

no. it would be too op and would limit item diversity. also, zhonyas changed.
