Reis the High Seas Navigator - Marksman / Support
LORE
The Walker of Tides An avid explorer of the seas, known for her bravery and undeniable skills with the steering wheel of any ships. Her ability to travel in seas under any circumstances has led many notorious or renowned people to seek her services as she does not call to anyone but the deathly waters she has sailed throughout her life. Some even called her the witch of the seas as even the most weary of ships were able to sail safely to their destination without a single damage as most would even see such situation as a wish for death.
Those that have seen her sail could only stare with awe as she calmly guided the ship through sharp rocks and devouring waves with finesse and grace. Though some have even attempted to threaten her in joining their ranks but soon found out about their mistake as she swiftly took them down with her trusty pistol, Aqua, watching each bullet hit their mark with frightening accuracy and speed. Equally enjoying fights as she is sailing, she tends to avoid fighting with her contractor as much as possible due to the risk of losing her payment.
The Reward from the Dead Before Sarah and her allies were saved by the priestess Illaoi, before Gangplank's presumed death and the untimely friendship of Tobias and Graves under heavy fire. One would recall the story of the Harrowing prior to all the events that has happened now. Where Sarah and Gangplank called a truce to face the horrors of the dead, with them was Reis, to see and tell the stories that they have faced.
As screams and howls filled the air, a short red-hair sat on top of the rooftop of a harbor overlooking the black ocean and the rolling fog, signalling the incoming onslaught. She held her hand down to her pocket before taking out a shining compass, glimmering like crystal water against the moonlight. The arrow pointing behind her.
"Reis, I presume?" Called out a feminine voice.
"Sarah? - no Miss Fortune, to be more formal and yes." She answered, staring back as Miss Fortune stood in grace as the moon showered her with luminescence. Another shadow stood behind her, the ghastly smell in the air was soon reeked with alcohol and citrus. "And you bought Gangplank, did it come to a point where you two, of all possibilities, to work together?" Reis added.
"Quite hard to take all of this in myself, but we need your assistance so I'll let that slide for now." Sarah answered back with a weird mix of sarcasm and hatred in her voice as a low groaning sound can be heard from behind her.
"For the right price!" Reis answered with the hint of happiness, pocketing her compass and twirling her pistol in between her fingers before jumping down the roof. "Although, I'll pick the ship we'll be riding. We don't know what's coming for us and I want a reliable ship to get us in and out, in one piece." Reis winked as she entered the harbor.
As the two followed Reis to her place, what they found was an ordinary ship - one could call it more of a cargo ship, no firepower, no ornaments to make up the ship nor anything out of the unusual. Still, as Reis climbed up the ship, the two followed and stood on opposite sides of the deck as Reis steered her ship out of the docks.
The once black ocean was soon filled with countless ship, men and women roaring from within, carrying torches to light the place as the merciless fog continued to devour everything in its path. Reis, Gangplank and Miss Fortune was in the front, the first to be devoured.
"Get ready now!" Reis yelled as she pushed through the tides. A large booming sound came from a pistol, Sarah signaling her men to move as Gangplank tossed a barrel and shot it from the sky, calling out to his men to charge. Flashy as it may be, it might as well be the last thing these men would see.
As the black fog rolled in, devouring the ships one by one, Reis did not flinched nor blinked as ghastly faces of what used to be human appeared on the front and as it all happened, it went black. The sound of gunshots and screams were replaced with complete silence. Reis quietly turned the wheel, hoping not to hit another ship was the biggest thing she'll have to worry. The undead, not so much.
What passed like seconds felt like hours within the fog, the dread and paranoia one would succumb if left in such environment would make anyone go mad. But things are different within the ship, these three were strong - Gangplank with his hands held tightly to his cutlass and pistol, a barrel beneath his feet ready to explode. Sarah held her mother's pistol, ready to fire in a flash. While Reis has one of her hand in the wheel while the other on her compass. The needle spun like tornado before coming to stop, ahead of their ship. Reis gazed in front of her, letting go of the wheel as she drew out her pistol.
_"Coming from the front!" Reis pointed her pistol forward as Miss Fortune and Gangplank turned, ghastly wails broke the silence as ghouls and spirits came out from the black fog. Reis took the first shot, dissipating the first hungry spirit that tried to board her ship, followed with several gunshots and ominous cries as the spirits disappear as fast as they have appeared.
"Port!" Reis yelled as she briefly watched her compass point to the left. Gangplank who stood on the left side of the deck, ignited a barrel before throwing it into the black fog, only to be devoured. A brief silence followed by a large boom and cries as the spirits evaporated and the fog opened up, revealing the ocean beneath it.
"I can do this all night!" exclaimed Gangplank who wore a smile in his face as his blade lit the undead on fire followed by merciless shots from his pistol.
"Starboard!" Reis ordered as the compass pointed to the right. Miss Fortune looked back at her, as if anticipating her enemies and waiting for the time to shine.
The undead came in like the ocean's waves yet Miss Fortune shot more bullets than there were to count. "Reis, while I'm happy to sit here and do this all day. I'd love to check out my men, unlike Gangplank." Miss Fortune shouted, her pistols on her hips.
"Men who dies from the likes of this are no men of mine!" Answered Gangplank who overheard Miss Fortune yet continued to butcher the undead who came to his side.
Reis simply nodded, sheathing her pistol back as she took control of the wheel once more. Her eyes focused on her compass as they were nothing else to see when everything else is covered by the fog. Soon, light pierced out of the darkness, another ship, and as they got closer, the sound of gunshots and screams became more visible as Miss Fortune's men were being attacked by the undead. "Rafen!" yelled out Sarah. "Captain!" a man's voice answered back.
"That ship won't hold any longer, get your men over here." Reis shouted as Sarah agreed, ordering her men to crossover and board their ship. While many tried, some were unluckily dragged by the things beneath the waters as they tried to jump. At that very moment, a low bellowing sound echoed through the fog, stunning everyone as where it could have come. Even Sarah's men were stunned and confused as the undead that attacked them seemed to have retreated. Reis looked at her compass, watching it spin nonstop before slowing down, the needle moving around her compass, briefly going back before continuing to spin in a much slower pace. "Oh this is bad..." Reis whispered to herself.
"Sarah get your men over he-!" Reis tried to shout only to see Miss Fortune gazing upon a large undead serpent rearing its ugly head, hollow eyes filled with terror with countless broken teeth lined in the serpent's mouth. They could only watch as the serpent swallowed the entire ship and the few unfortunate men who could only watch their coming demise, vanishing into the black fog. "Time to move!" Reis laid her compass in front of her as she held control of the steering wheel with both of her hands.
Reis sailed back as Miss Fortune and her men fended off the undead. Gangplank himself didn't required any help from the looks of it - even to go as far as to point a gun to one of Miss Fortune's men who tried to help him. Good thing that things didn't went ugly, they have far more problems - no, just one BIG problem. The compass pointed back, swaying from left to right. She knew it was coming for them and they won't stand a chance against it, not in this environment. "Captains! Need your help!" Reis called out to the attention of the two, gesturing to stand behind her.
Gangplank groggily walked back to the poop deck, followed by Miss Fortune who silently stood beside Gangplank. Once more, they heard the bellows and the serpent was in their tail. Miss Fortune raised her pistols, firing a hail of bullets unto the serpents as Gangplank threw an ignited barrel before shooting it down, yet none stopped the beast. The three didn't stopped their assault yet the beast proved to be a serious problem. As the serpent drew back, making an attempt to bite off a good portion of the ship, with them along with it. Miss Fortune and Gangplank continued their fire yet their bullets disappeared within the serpent's mouth where one could only see the pitch black hole and the ashen white teeth of the beast. As the serpent charged, Reis steered to the right, attempting to at least let the serpent graze the ship but a large rusty anchor flew out of the fogs, dragging the serpent by the head back to somewhere in the fog, much to their shock and to Gangplank's dismay.
As Reis continued forward, she could see the lights of the shore, where they will make their stand - and by they, she meant Miss Fortune and Gangplank. Her job is done and the shore was a minute swim away. Ships from Gangplank and Miss Fortune came to aid them from pushing back the fog and when the war was done, people celebrated with booze and songs, an offering to their companions who were lost in the fight and sign that Bilgewater will not lose. In the midst of these celebrations, Reis was nowhere to be found.

In-depth Information
Role, Abilities and Strategy
• Role and Abilities - The life of a marksman and support
Reis excels in being both as a Marksman and a Support at the same time, this gives her teammates a unique team composition where it is possible to have two Marksmen Champions or even two Support Champions to aid their allies later in the game. Unique to Reis is that she can independently switch roles regardless of her item build or skill usage as either way will benefit her allies greatly in one way or another.
Although Reis players can choose to specialize on one aspect of her role, playing as a standard Marksman will allow Reis focus on build Attack Damage and Armor Penetration Items, utilizing her entire skill set offensively through softening up her targets with her Warning Shot followed by a well-timed Tidal Break to start the damage. Utilizing her Steer Clear! ability to maneuver around combined with her Shell Compass to provide a good movement speed boost to chase down enemy foes.
If focused on the aspect of support, Reis players mainly utilize their Shell Compass to forewarn incoming enemies that might ruin their lane or otherwise, use Steer Clear! to push your allies to safety as well as providing a decent damage reduction for a few precious seconds that can save your lives. Utilizing Warning Shot to soften up your enemies once your ally is ready or even using Treasure Isle even if you're away from your allies to grant them an extra gold boost that might just help your team win the game.
