Alnna the Empress of the Sands - Mage / Support

Lore

From Sands to Fall Before her rose to power as the Empress of Shurima, Alnna was among the commoners and peasants of the empire, living in hardship to pay to survive. Although one cannot say that her life within the empire was dire, their emperor, Azir, was a kind man who would roam the streets and greet his people with a smile. For Alnna, her knowledge and skills were quite impressive yet risky, tinkering with tonics and potions of old. Her items were prized among the common as she developed things that aided her people. This act caught the attention of Azir who invited her to his palace, allowing her to further improve her research and study in her field. Soon, she was then promoted as the Architect of Shurima, designing buildings that would be house the treasures of Shurima, alongside intricate yet beautiful traps that would befall against those would try to rob the place till the end of time.

Her contributions to Shurima placed the land in a new age as well as a hand in marriage. Becoming the Empress of Shurima alongside her husband, Azir. Everyday she and her husband would walk her homeland, greeting and learning from their people until that faithful day. Their first daughter within her womb, she watched as his husband performed the Ascension when things went wrong and her emperor, erased from existence. She rushed towards the Oasis of the Dawn as her buildings of her own design started to crumble and fall. Barely making alive, she took out a small leather pouch and gathered water from the Oasis before fleeing from the empire. As she turned back, she saw the sands swallowing her home and with nowhere to go, she traveled the deserts in hope of life and a chance for her daughter to see the world.

Each day, a sip from her pouch would rejuvenate her strength as well as revitalize her body though what appeared like hours felt like years as she traveled the scorching sands in sunlight and the piercing cold of the night in a never ending cycle. Finally, a small encampment that housed nomads and kids alike. Her presence was unusual, adorned with Shurima's priced accessories, yet she was welcomed with open arms. During her time with these people, she gave birth to her daughter - one who would save her lineage but not the one to restore Shurima. As the water from her pouch receded, her body also receded - feeling the frailty of her body, she left her daughter in trust of the nomads and went back to what was once her home, hoping to find the Oasis of the Dawn and revitalize herself once more in hope that in the coming generations, she would be there to watch and protect her descendants until Shurima returns to its glory.

I generally like the kit, but the E ability is just too....awkward. It's a free flash, but could also screw over the player, blinking them into a fight they don't want to go into because of AOE or assassin strikes.

Also the ult seem either underpowered or overpowered, depending on her role. If she is playing support, all it offers is damage, and not too much at that (late game she will get around 340 base damage, plus a percent of her missing health. Even with true damage this isn't too much). If she is in mid-lane however, this ult seem freaking broken. Cause she can easily get a lot of AP that way, and when bursty assassins try to dive her she will melt them.

You say assassin, but she feels much more like a mage/support. She has a lot of range (more than some ADCs) and sustained slow with a lot of mana regen.

The Q feels OP. Would recommend toning down the AP or removing the MR/Armor reduction. It's kind of a mini-Nami Ult combined with Exhaust.

200% mana regen for Desert Blanket seems really high. It's practically a castable Amumu W, right?

I like the combination of the different things in the kit, but she feels too overpowered.

The passive is really interesting, like a supportive version of crystalline flask, I could see this champion working as both a mid and support, also having the interaction between Q and W is really nice, the E is a bit strange, automatic blinks based on your health would be somewhat unreliable if you were trying to kite, the way the ult damage works could probably use some changes as well, changing the damage type based on your current health is a strange mechanic for a mage, it's not clear whether or not you still get the % damage amplification if the true damage procs from the way you wrote it, if not you could end up losing damage in some cases vs low MR enemies. You also don't specify if R is targeted.

Still, it's one of the best kit designs I've seen on the boards, it has interactions between the abilities, unique dynamic aspects that actually add choice to the game and with a little bit of tuning and cleanup on the E and R I could definitely see this being a viable champion.

Gotcha, changing Alnna to support / mage, although I'll need some suggestions on her ultimate if possible.
