[Champion Concept] Maha the Solstice Seer
The Nameless Tribe Born to Freljord before factions came to be, Maha was old and wise belonging to a nameless tribe that would do everything in their power to survive the cold and death their land has to offer. Savages and predators comes in different form, man and beasts but one could not even tell which is which if one is surrounded by bloodlust. Despite their shortcomings and losses, Maha and her tribe found safety under the newly formed Avarosan alliance, an end to their suffering - or so she thought.
During her youthful years, Maha's elders would tell a story of a powerful women from their tribe, a Seer born from death. Bringing visions and omen that would decide the faith of Freljord and all to come. Maha's parents were skeptical as these stories were passed from generations but not once have they recorded any actual facts of the story but it was the only reason that gave their tribe hope during their crisis, passing the legend from elder to child and so on.
Now old and frail, Maha would pass these legends to the youth of her tribe, some that would shrug it off due to many legends of Freljord were now born now that they have lived under the protection of Avarosan. Living freely and out of fear was once a dream she had when she was young now that her people are living her dream, her only fear was her tribe disappearing from history. Old rituals and culture vanishing slowly as their newer generation started to participate in the Avarosan culture, she knew she couldn't stop the progress - nor did she fear such thing as long as her people are safe.
As years passed by, Maha knew it was her time. The remaining loyal folks of her tribe dedicated one last ritual for her - The Passing. A culture of their own that would allow one to pass to the afterlife safely. As Maha laid on her deathbed, adorned of flowers that could only be found on the farthest of mountains. A single flame lighted the room as her tribesmen surrounded her. As they started to beat their drums, the flame twisted and turned as Maha's body started to fail her. As the chants soon turned to whisper, the flame stood still as Maha took her final breath - an end to the ritual.
One by one, they offered flowers to Maha and as the last tribesman offered his, his last dury was to put out the flame. As he touched the flame, he could feel his fingers going numb - it wasn't hot like it should be but instead it was cold, freezing to the point any further contact would cover his hand in ice. His eyes turned to Maha, laying silently on her bed as the flame turned to blue then to white, flicking once and dying out, engulfing the room in darkness. The man did not moved his eyes away as he watched Maha's body glowed white - her lips turning purple and skin white despite being dead for mere minutes. The sudden realization had the man bursting out of the room, screaming that the prophecy has happened. As everyone entered the room, all eyes were focused on a single golden snowflake that laid on top of an empty bed.
From Death to Ice I watched over my home like any other day, from intruders and spies that would dwell upon my peaceful land. None of those barbaric bears or ferocious trolls would dare step foot and do harm to my people. Despite gathering countless tribe to unite under her protection, it is also my task to know the well-being of her people. Each day I would walk on the streets of Rakelstake, taking a different route and meeting a different tribe who sought protection under her care.
Recent news of one of my people passing due to old age is something worth to pay respects but when news that the body has vanished, something peaked my curiosity. I approached the supposed wake, people were celebrating around the fire. Something that isn't usually done when a person passes away. I asked around and discovered that the person who has passed away was named Maha. As I stepped inside the tent of Maha's supposed body, my gaze was caught on the golden snowflake, as if beckoning to me. I pleaded to take back the snowflake with me and none of them actually declined. I approached the bed and I could feel the cold emanating from the snowflake, picking it up gently with my fingers. It was very cold, chilling to the bone yet everything felt right - an unusual yet familiar feeling. (WIP)

Abilities
Passive - The Passing - [Revival Mechanic] 80 Seconds Cooldown (Cannot be reduced by Cooldown Reduction)
Upon taking Fatal Damage, Maha becomes a spirit that is invulnerable to damage but vulnerable to movement-impairing effects. While in this state, she cannot attack and will lose 8% of her maximum Mana each second but can cast her spells except for Solstice Totem. Maha will die if her Mana Pool reaches 0.
If Maha reaches an allied turret (even destroyed) or a Solstice Totem, she is revived and restores 10% of her maximum Health. If its an Solstice Totem, it is destroyed upon her revival.
Frost - Maha's Abilities can inflict Frost which slows enemy units, unique to Maha's Frost is that her Slow can stack on an enemy, resulting to a stronger slow percentage. Stacking Frosts on an enemy will refresh the slow and take on the highest possible duration.
Q - Winter's End - [AoE-Slow-Damage] Cast Range: 650 | Outer / Inner Radius: 250 / 100 | Mana Cost: 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 / 80 | Cooldown: 9 seconds on all levels
Maha concentrates the cold in a targeted area, dealing 30 / 60 / 90 / 110 / 140 + (20% of Ability Power) magical damage and applying Frost to enemies in the inner radius, slowing them down by 6% / 7% / 8% / 9% / 10% for 1 second.
After a 1.25 seconds delay, Maha releases the cold outward, dealing twice the magic damage and applies another Frost to enemies in the outer radius. Frost inflicted on the outer radius has twice the slow and lasts for 2 seconds which decays overtime.
W - Solstice Totem - [Ward-Slow-Heal] Cast Range: 600 | Radius: 500 | Mana Cost: 90 / 95 / 100 / 110 / 120 | Cooldown: 30 / 28 / 26 / 24 / 22 seconds
Creates a Solstice Totem with 3 / 3 / 4 / 4 / 5 Health on a target spot, granting 600 vision around it. While active, the Solstice Totem applies stacks of Short Winter to enemy champions within its radius each second, up to a maximum 3 stacks. Only 3 Solstice Totems can be active at a time.
If the enemy target leaves the vision range of a Solstice Totem, it converts all stacks of Short Winter and turns it into Frost, slowing the target by 3% / 4% / 5% / 6% / 7% per stack for 3 seconds that decays overtime.
If Maha is within vision range of a Solstice Totem when it converts stacks of Short Winter to Frost, it also heals Maha by 2% / 2.25% / 2.5% / 2.75% / 3% of her maximum Health per stack converted.
E - Cold Release - [Damage-Single Target] Cast Range: 600 | Mana Cost: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 | Cooldown: 13 seconds on all levels
On Self / Ally Cast: Maha fills herself or an ally with heat, removing and converting any slow effects into bonus movement speed for 2 / 2.25 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.25 seconds.
On Enemy Cast: Maha surges the enemy with heat, removing any Frost inflicted by her abilities and converting the slow percentage to magic damage equal to the enemy's maximum health.
The cooldown of Cold Release is reduced by 1 second each time an enemy unit dies while under the effects of a Slow.
Ultimate - Equinox - [Global-Damage-Heal] Radius: Global | Mana Cost: 100 / 110 / 120 | Cooldown: 90 / 80 / 70 seconds
Maha calls forth an Equinox for 6 / 7 / 8 seconds, causing all enemy champions under the effects of Slow to receive 3% / 4% / 5% + (1% per 80 Ability Power) of their maximum Health as magic damage each second.
Additionally, all active Solstice Totem becomes invulnerable and also grants allied champions whose health is below 30% / 35% / 40% to regenerate 3% / 3.5% / 4% + (1% per 80 Ability Power) of their maximum Health each second when near a Solstice Totem.
Role and Strategy
General and Laning
Maha has a unique role that allows her to become a big presence on any lane, capable of pressuring enemies through her slow and direct damage while providing vision through her totems that would otherwise become an entry way for enemy ganks. Maha's playstyle revolves on stacking her Frost stacks on enemy champions to increase the slow before discharging her Cold Release to deal tons of damage. Stacking her Frost can be tricky as her Winter's End has two types of Slow with the outer radius inflicting a greater slow with a longer duration that the one inflicted in the inner radius. Careful aiming and strategic planning will allow Maha players to inflict both Frost stacks from the inner and outer radius allowing them to either catch an enemy off guard or gain a decent distance between them.
Maha's Solstice Totem is an ability that acts similar to wards, invulnerable to spells as well as taking 1 damage from basic attacks from enemies but given its cooldown and effect, it is an valuable tool on Maha's setup and strategies. One can actively setup in places enemy champions can enter such as in brushes or in rivers to gain vision on incoming enemies and if positioned properly will significantly slow them down once they leave the vision range of a totem, giving you time to properly time ahead. Otherwise, the Solstice Totem can be used offensively in either the Top or Bottom Lane by means of placing them in the brushes present on the sides as it will significantly help you gain vision on those brushes as well as slow down enemies who would even take a quick peak on it opening them up to attacks.
One should also place a nearby Solstice Totem just in case Maha is low on health, given her passive - The Passing allows her to revive when she reaches a turret or a totem, this can be used in jungles when out of lane but be wary of Maha's Mana Pool as she dies once it reaches 0 while in a spiritual state making it hard if she's juggled around by enemies with strong Crowd Control effects.
