So for my theory on this teasers, this champion has a way to pull someone's desire or dreams and kill them with it (well not necessarily kill but use it for advantage).

As for Zed's Teaser, his eyes were shown to have sakura branches from what it looks like, coming out of it. In Project Yi's Trailer, it is shown that sakura petals are flying around him, showing relief and peace. From what it looks like, Zed's face-off against this champion pulled his past desired to be accepted by his former master.

As for Sona's Teaser, her throat and mouth were struck as butterflies fly around. We all know Sona is mute but can communicate telepathically but of course, her sweet soothing voice can only be heard by us. Her long desire to speak must have led her demise against this champion.

As for Garen's Teaser, his face is crumbling - from our previous releases, especially for Tahm Kench. We know that Garen possesses an undying love to Katarina but is quite scared to actually face it, perhaps his desire is slowly eating him inside and led his demise.

As for Vi's Teaser, it is hard to tell where she was struck or what was her symbolism against this champion, showing red - I could say it might be fire or a rose or her armor crumbling. Perhaps its a desire to show that she still has a feminine side despite her rough exterior and attitude.

Again Garen having undying love for Katarina is not cannon.

So all JoJ are non-canon? as for the spoiler alert - that's definitely not a spoiler nor the champion. Deadeye is related to Djin which can be found in my other thread on "Whose Djin". Deadeye means something more than being good for guns.

I'm not saying Garen and Katarina are in love - but there is a spark, first hinted on that JoJ chapter that had both Garen and Katarina required to stop some brawl or fight or something - that weird cooperation. Now Tahm Kench, a demon of desire - hinting at Garen and Katarina with his taunt. It is not explicitly told out loud by Riot but more of to leave us are thoughts on their relationship.

Tahm Kench's taunt to Garen: (Ally) "You live by a code that'll never let you get what you want. Let me take you to her.""

and for Katarina: (Ally) "Don't starve your heart, child! Let me deliver you to him."

  • of all Champion Taunts, Garen and Katarina's taunts were left ambiguous, merely being referred to "Him" and "Her". I find that pretty obvious. So, it is in the game, it is canon that there is something between them yet these two are like the poster-boy and girl of Demacia and Noxus, that would be a bad image.
