[Champion Concept] A.T. McShorty, The Streetwise Brawler
Hello! This is the next in a series of champion concepts I came up between 2012 and 2016, and submitted to Riot as part of an ill-fated game design application back in April 2016. Some of the lore concepts or references to in-game mechanics may be out of date now, but I'd still welcome any feedback (also about the post itself, somewhat of a forum noob). My notes are in brackets, question marks denote sections I thought would need balancing.
Abilities: Bluster (Passive)- A.T. gets movement speed for every nearby champion. [Friendly or hostile, same range as Irelia passive] Dodge Roll- A.T. removes all movement impairing effects on her, and launches into a roll that deals [+AP] magic damage to the first champion she encounters. If Dodge Roll encounters terrain first, A.T. rebounds, increasing distance traveled and dealing bonus [+AP] magic damage as well as stunning the first champion hit. [18/16.5/15/13.5/12s CD] **Streetwise- **A.T. gains [10/12/14/16/18]% passive lifesteal. A.T. can activate Streetwise to cause her next 3 auto attacks apply an increasing slow. [Lifesteal retained while ability is on CD, 11?s CD] **Sweep The Leg- **A.T. drops to the ground and performs a leg sweep, dealing [+AD] physical damage to all nearby enemies as well as knocking them up for 1s. [20?s CD] Suppressed Rage (Ultimate)- A.T. taps into her pent-up anger; for [20?s] her auto attacks give her a stacking buff that increases HP, size, and an aura that slows nearby enemy champions. [Stacks have a 1.5?s duration if not refreshed, 2?min CD on ultimate]
Lore: Sometimes, life in Piltover can be hard, more so for a yordle. A.T.’s family moved from Bandle City to Piltover shortly after she was born, and she grew up surrounded by normal-sized children. Teased and bullied often, A.T. quickly learned to defend herself and portray a sense of confidence that could ward off most of her would-be tormentors. She even adopted one of the insulting nicknames she was called, McShorty, as part of her own name. Having grown up, A.T. has a regular crew that she spends her time with, but even when alone she never backs down from a fight or challenge.
[Notes: A.T. McShorty is a melee bruiser. Her Dodge Roll ability is a skillshot with a cast indicator that interacts with terrain to show rebound paths.]
