Overall I love most of the skins + the new additions of kennen and yasuo. I have to say you missed the mark with blood moon Elise. I'm not saying I don't like the skin, I actually do think it is a good skin. but with that said, I don't think it Fits the Blood Moon skin line and theme.

Maybe change the title to "Geisha Elise." (Which is what it pretty much resembles with the makeup and recall.)

  • Its not red, traditionally required in a blood moon skin. Elise as a champion is suppose to be seductive/feminine but there are plenty of ways to go around this besides a revealing top and short skirt.
  • She should have had been made to look like a Priestess wearing a variation of a miko. (if you didnt know Elise is a Priestess for the spider god.)

keep in mid each blood moon is related to an Asian mainly Japanese legend

It doesn't fit the theme though lol. If they wanted to be closer to jorogumo they should have made it closer to this with a different color ( red,white, slight blues/purple hues.)

the blood moon is there japanese skin like and jorogumo is Japanese. but that more or less my interpretation i think it fits the skin like perfectly here is a riot response

Bloodmoon theme isn't strictly kabuki though. That was one of our inspirations.

We the animators decided it'd be cool if their recalls were related to traditional Japanese culture in some form or another. It just so happened that Kabuki was a strong influence on Kalista (which I also animated) and Thresh. For Elise I wanted to do something else that played off the more beautiful and calm appearance of her human form as well as the lore of the "Jorōgumo".

If we were making strict kabuki skins, they'd all have to be male characters (all actors in kabuki theater are male, the females in the stories are played by men with heavy make-up on)

I know Jorogumo is japanese. Its always depicted as a woman in a kimono, who usually shows cleavage and her shoulders while in her human form ( In the Modern Era of course). Elise's skin doesn't resemble it one bit.
