His ult has a strong base damage and 200% ad scaling, why does it even need to do bonus health damage?

Nameless Voice12 votesThis is one of my most-hated abilities in the entire game. It has so many really strong uses, while having no cost and a very low cooldown.
Point-and-click instant cast means that there's no counterplay to it other than "don't be near Lee Sin" - which you don't have much choice about if you are a mêlée champion. Massive knockback makes him almost impossible for any mêlée champion to duel - he can just kick them away if he's in trouble. Massive damage and ratios means he can use it to kill squishy enemies easily. Repositioning tool allows him to do Insec plays.
And those aren't even the intended use case of the ability, which is to kick a champion into the middle of the enemy team to damage and CC them all.
Now, on top of all that, it gains tank-shredding power? (Edit: or possibly the power to shred others with their team's tank, tree description is a little ambiguous.)
DorkunedAuras5 votesIt actually does 0 more damage to the person he kicked. It just gives benefits for kicking the tank, rather htan always targetting the squishy. If the tank sets himself up wrong, he can be used to do big damage to his team based on his bonus hp. Though the Ratio is a bit much. You could set it up so that high stacks, 
can be used to insta quadra kill the enemy team, followed by Sion not dying anyway, denying lee's penta.

...Yeah, I'm not the most cynical of people, but I think we can all see the motivation behind these changes.
Why the fuck Riot would think that the same fucking champions every single fucking year on every single fucking match makes for interesting tournaments is beyond me.
