Kennen Rework Suggestion
So right now, I don't really sit with how Kennen is right now. Poke with Q until they get low enough to get stun-lock and kill or just jump in and stun everything in the area (its like a really fast stun of Morgana's Ultimate). So I would like to propose a new set that could possibly help him in becoming more of a Mobile Crowd Control Mage.
Passive - Calm Before the Storm Kennen regains Energy as he constantly moves as well gaining 1.5% bonus movement speed for every 10 Energy missing from his pool.
- Gains 5 Energy per 100 units traveled.
- Kennen does not gain Energy per second as compared to other champions utilizing Energy Resource.
Q - Thundering Shuriken Throws a charged shuriken in a straight line, dealing magic damage to all enemy units struck and after 4 seconds, reduces the target's movement speed by 10% for 1.5 seconds. Deals 10% less damage after each consecutive hit down to a minimum of 30%.
- Kennen charges a shuriken every 20 seconds (affected by Cooldown Reduction) and can store up to 3 Thundering Shurikens at a time.
- Each successful hit of Thundering Shuriken on the same target refreshes the timer before the movement reduction is applied. Movement Speed reduction from Thundering Shuriken may stack multiple times.
W - Shock Vacuum Kennen discharges electricity to balance the area around him for 4 seconds, stunning enemy champions whose movement speed is above or below than their base movement speed for 2 seconds.
Additionally, Kennen will attract his other abilities to him and granting them additional effects.
- Shock Vacuum will essentially stun enemies who is affected by a Movement Speed Buff or Debuff. Enemy champions can only be stunned once per usage.
- Thundering Shuriken used within or during Shock Vacuum will cause it to return to Kennen upon reaching the maximum range, dealing 50% of the base damage as well as reducing the charge time by 6 seconds on return.
- Swift Bolt used within or during Shock Vacuum, will instead move towards Kennen, dealing increased damage and gaining increased projectile speed as more enemy units are struck. Enemy champion(s) struck on the way back will create Grounded areas. Each enemy champion can only create a Grounded area once and can only be affected once by Swift Bolt.
E - Swift Bolt After a 1 second delay, Kennen calls forth a single bolt of lightning in a small area, dealing magic damage to enemy units and reducing enemy champion's base movement speed by 10% for 4 seconds.
If an enemy champion is struck by Swift Bolt, the area becomes Grounded for 3 seconds. Kennen and his allies gains bonus movement speed equal to movement speed lost by enemy champion(s) while within the Grounded area.
- If multiple enemy champions are struck by Swift Bolt, all enemy champions lose 10% of their base movement speed and Kennen and his allies gain equal to the total movement speed lost if they are within the Grounded area.
R - Slicing Maelstrom Kennen summons a storm that expands outward, dealing magic damage to enemy units and inflicting Charged to enemy champions struck for 4 seconds.
If Kennen is within melee range of a Charged enemy champion or if a Charged enemy champion is struck by Thundering Shuriken or Swift Bolt, the Charged Debuff will be consumed, stunning the target for 1 second and causing another storm to be released from the targeted enemy champion.
- Enemy champions may only be Charged from the initial storm but may receive damage multiple times from different storms.
- Triggering a storm on a Charged enemy champion will cause that target to be the center of the storm (not Kennen) and the storm covers less area than Kennen's.
