I'm kinda sad that traditional karma got the dress treatment because of the sakura skin debacle. The dress makes her movement look clunky. I actually prefer the old version than the current one.

Agreed, the dress is so ugly. Her walk animation in her dress skins is so bad I have no idea how it got past QA.

I like the old version. She's wearing pants there, so I think it's okay. What was that Sakura Karma debacle?
Technically, it's more than just the Sakura skin.
Karma was the only champion to wear a full-length gown before her complete overhaul. It's one of the main reasons her Traditional Skin was adjusted to look more like a dress.
Consequentially, the new model was not made with full-length dresses in mind, which is why Sakura Karma looks much less.. classy.
Speaking specifically about Traditional Karma, I still feel Riot's attempts at retaining Karma's character were not very well done, her dress being more of a "trench-coat". That said, I also don't really care for the former version. Though it's made with the new model in mind, it loses her "Traditional" identity, and still looks kinda derpy.
I still think they need to work on Traditional Karma some more. Something that would fit the model as well as retaining her original identity as a peaceful, clever, and graceful leader who can always find a way to keep the peace.
A combination of the former and the current Traditional Karma would probably find the best of both worlds.
Also, why not put her fans in her mantle? That would have been a great nod to us original Karma fans.
