Nemandi, the Spelltwiner

I was thinking about Ryze last night and I came up with an idea for a chain-type mage, one that uses it's abilities in a particular order for a particular situation. I'm sorry if the kit seems overloaded, it's just a lot more complicated to put in words than it really is.

Nemandi is a supportive mage that draws power from using his abilities in succession, increasing the potency of the spell used at the end of the chain. He is versatile in both one-on-one and team fight scenarios, and makes up for in disengage material what he lacks in mobility.

Lore and Design: Nemandi means "student" in Icelandic, and that's just what he is. He's devoted most of his young life to learning everything he possibly can about magic, and always dreamed of creating his own. Everyone always told him he doesn't know when to quit, but, within the League of Legends, he discovered a whole host of material to study, and people to learn from. Armed with nothing more than a book and a quill, Nemandi seeks to learn his enemies' strengths and make them his own.

Nemandi is more of a traditional wizard, using incantations and cast times for each of his abilities. This small delay before each cast is actually an integral part of his design, and really places importance on utilizing his passive, Chain Magic. Before using each ability, Nemandi will be seen writing out the runes for the spell in the air with his quill as well as saying the incantation out loud, indicated by the quotes in parentheses. This does not interrupt his movement, but does make almost all of his actions slightly delayed.

Abilities:

Passive, Chain Magic- After casting two spells within 5 seconds of each other, the next unique spell that Nemandi casts within the next 5 seconds will trigger an additional effect and have no cast time.

Q, Raze ("Razo!")- Releases a skill shot crystal cluster that deals 70/ 110/150/190/230+60%AP magic damage to the first enemy struck before detonating, sending two shards out behind the target, which deal 20/40/60/80/100 30%AP magic damage and slow by 30%+2% per 100AP each. The first shard will land behind the target in a small area, and the second shard will land behind the first shard after a delay.

If triggering Chain Magic, a portal will form at the site of the initial contact, which, after both clusters have landed, will release a second, full powered Raze in the same direction as the first cast.

W, Rune Room ("Sacrenim!")- Nemandi releases 5/6/7/8/9 runes to disperse in an area of 1400 around him(700 on all sides). Over the next 6 seconds, these runes will each seek out an ally champion or enemy, homing on to them and being consumed, dealing 20/30/40/50/60+20%AP magic damage if it was an enemy and healing 20/25/30/35/40+20%if it was an ally. There is no priority.

If triggering Chain Magic, the runes will instead swirl around the zone over 6 seconds, applying damage or healing as pass-through effects.

E, Derail ("Vortim!")- Deals 60/90/120/150/180+45%AP magic damage to target enemy champion and inverts their bonus movement speed, (converting + to -), including that gained from abilities, down to a minimum of 100 movement speed.

If triggering Chain Magic, the initial target is feared for 1.5 seconds before being slowed and the damage and slow spreads to other enemies near the target.

R, Arcane Sphere ("Ros!")-

Passive, Entrainment-

Arcane Sphere gains additional effects and particles for future casts based on the type of enemy champion struck by it. This effect occurs once per type of enemy, and up to 3 times total.

*For each new effect added, a new word is added to the incantation, essentially adding ~.5 seconds to the cast time. Chain Magic will nullify this cast time as it would that of any other ability.

Tank(“Geldur”)- Steals 15% armor and magic resist from the target, calculated before damage.

Assassin(“Strinim”)- Deals an additional 12%+1%per 100AP of the target’s missing hp as bonus magic damage.

Marksman(“Accros”)- On impact, deploys a rune that rapidly releases multiple missiles in a star shape for 3 seconds, each dealing 20/40/60+15%AP

Mage(“Arcanuum”)- The orb explodes on impact, dealing 100/150/200+65%AP magic damage to surrounding enemies, but not the target itself

Fighter(“Dweilam”)- Transforms into a sword, increasing range and speed, and accelerating instantly

Support(“Portressis”)- Also stuns the target for 1 second on impact

Active- Releases a globe of blue-white energy at target enemy champion, taking a moment to accelerate. It deals 130/190/250 +60%AP magic damage on impact. If triggering Chain Magic, the sphere travels faster and deals 20% more damage.

No quotes or anything yet, but Nemandi's personality is a strong cross between a studious scholar and a goofball filled with stupid puns.
