Champion Concept: Kayama, the Vile Queen

Ahoi! Kayama is a disruptive tank with the potential to dish out large amounts of physical damage, rewarding good pathing.

Lore and Design: This is my first champion concept and im not familiar with all the Lore of Legends so ill be brief. Kayama is an ancient vastayan tyrant, seen as a monster amongst her own kind. Humans and vastaya alike fear her cruelty as well as her monstrous form. Kayama has the upper body of a woman with thick black locks bound against her back. Her lower body consists of six hulking centipede segments. She wields a halberd made from bone and wears a matching crown. Kayama fears nothing and does not know mercy. What she wants, she takes, usually by brute force.

Movement: Like Aurelion Sol, the way this champion moves is a huge part of its design, kit, and overall feel. Kayama's six segments follow her front like a train, her rear going in the exact path of her front, allowing her to form circles and other shapes with her own body. When sprinting, the undulation increases.

Passive: Kayama has six segments which each represent 10% of her max hp. They can be destroyed but do not need to be destroyed to kill her. They are not individually treated as champions, affected by single target abilities(so dark wind wont 1-hit Kayama lol), or subject to cc. They also collectively take reduced damage from aoe. These segments will fall off once they have sustained damage and Kayama is below the respective current health thresholds. Multiple segments can fall off at once if Kayamas hp is below the threshold and they are then damaged. (Sorry if this is confusing!) Alternatively, segments will grow back as Kayama rises above the respective current hp thresholds, each segment taking 5seconds to reappear. All segments immediately return after recalling or respawning. Now for the important part, Kayama's segments act as terrain for enemies and cannot be passed through except by blinks, dashes, etc that would normally permit passage through terrain.

*This is a risky design but i like that in a champion. Playing Kayama is as much about physically positioning your champion as it is about attacking and using abilities. As such a large champion with so many damageable areas, she can be severely punished for playing too aggressively, however having such a long body comes with many hidden benefits, such as completely blocking off an enemy or jungle passage, or becoming a makeshift projectile shield for your squishies.

Okay that was a lot of typing. Also i wont be including any kind of stats or scalings as that's probably out of my hands anyway.

Q, Scure- Kayama plunges her halberd into the ground, dealing physical damage and rooting enemies in a small nearby target area. She then retrieves her halberd with her massive tail, dealing additional physical damage in a larger area and briefly knocking up enemies. The second effect cannot occur with less than 3 segments

W, Organic Ballistae- Kayama launches a narrow projectile from both sides of each of her segments, each projectile dealing physical damage to the first enemy struck and slowing them for one second. Enemies struck by multiple spikes take reduced damage

*By lining up perpendicular to the enemy, Kayama can use this ability like a broadside attack from a warship. Using it in a circle will deal tremendous damage to anything that might be inside.

E, March of Dread Passive- When moving or stationary, Kayamas legs will strike nearby combative enemies dealing 40% of her attack damage. The frequency of the strikes are based on half of her attack speed.

*This passive serves to balance the drawbacks of having a long champion as well as give her some waveclear. It will not proc on structures

Active- Kayama surges forward and wildly undulates her segments, accelerating over two seconds. Enemies struck during this charge are knocked aside and dealt additional physical damage. Kayama retains a small portion of the bonus movement speed for four additional seconds after the dash.

R, Blood Circle- Passive- Kayama gains additional armor and magic resist for each segment she has available

Active- After a delay, Kayama burrows underground, disappearing from the map entirely before resurfacing at a target location within a range that increases with rank. Resurfacing can take between 1 and 3 seconds depending on the distance. A marker visible by the enemy team appears 1 second before she emerges. Upon surfacing, if Kayama has at least 3 segments, Kayama forms a circle with her own body, trapping any enemies inside for up to 3 seconds. Reactivating Blood Circle will end the circle. Kayama takes percentage reduced damage for as long as she remains a circle.

*This ultimate has very strong offensive and defensive uses. Its obvious use is to hopefully trap an enemy squishy within Kayamas body to ensure a high priority kill. A flash, dash or thresh can quickly free them however so it is not failsafe. An alternative use for this ability is leaving a fight altogether, or sneaking up on a seperated enemy or contesting an objective. A tank with a long range teleport can be very scary!

Im gonna add some quotes now in no particular order

"Consider being trampled my version of mercy." "I am your prison!" "You are not worth eating." "They will bow, or they will BREAK." "Savagery gets results." "How do you like the legssssss?" "Bring me blood!" "Stiff necks are so easy to break" "Everywhere i tread belongs to ME." "I will share with you my blessing." "Scream for me." "Weep for your queen." "You. Are. Weak!" "There is no place in my world for worms like you." "Ages come and ages go, but some things never change." "Feed me."

I know this design has a lot of hidden problems/concerning interactions but I think it has potential to even inspire something cool. I live for character design and i enjoyed pushing the boundaries of a LoL champion. Let me know what you think.

So I'm thinking she looks like Cassiopeia but with 6 big tails with hitboxes. Am i right? Or is each section of centipede a section of her total tail? (Sorry if I'm confusing you I just want this to be clear.)

I've added a rough sketch for a visual aid.
