Dyad the Beast of Zaun
LORE
Renowned chemist and scientest, Dr. Dyad Helio has his ways in getting what he wants with his natural charisma or intellectual speech. Despite his good looks and honest appearance hides a hideous personality. Rumors of his "experiments" involving live specimens or corpses being privately delivered from his home to the waste, all cut up and open, were turned down as those who have personally spoke with Dr. Dyad could not sense anything wrong with the man. Dyad himself enjoyed hearing these so-called "rumors", eyeing the people who whisper to themselves in an alley as he pass by yet by the following day, those people tend to disappear without any trace whatsoever.
He kept his works for himself, finding a way to unlock human potential through any means necessary until the day he found the solution. A grotesque mixture he concocted himself and with one gulp, did unlocked one's potential but also showed one's true self. He saw himself, the real him alongside the overwhelming power flowing through his veins kept him addicted that he sought out more "ingredients" to keep himself in stock.
He never did mind having others see the real him, that is if they manage to escape from him.
ABILITIES
Passive - Terror Vial Dyad starts the game with Terror Vial in his Inventory. Whenever Dyad kills an enemy unit, he gains a 7 / 9 / 11 stacks for his vial up to a 100 stacks. Gains twice the stacks from Siege Minions and Large monsters. Gains thrice the stacks for killing enemy champions or an Epic Monster.
Dyad may consume his Terror Vial when his stacks is between 21 to 99, healing him for 13 + (2 x stacks) over 6 seconds. Has a 15 seconds cooldown. Terror Vial may be upgraded twice through the shop:
- Power - Upon consuming Terror Vial grants Dyad Attack Damage equal to 20% of his stacks for 6 seconds. May be purchased twice, increasing Attack Damage bonus to 35%.
- Hunger - Allows Dyad to gain 3 stacks whenever a nearby enemy unit dies without dealing the killing blow. Twice for Enemy Champions.
- Resource - Gain an additional stack for each kill (2 stacks for Champion Kills) and reduces requirement for consuming Terror Vial to 18.
- Will - Upon consuming Terror Vial grants 10% Tenacity for 6 seconds. Increased to 25% Tenacity when Transformed and lasts for the duration of Transformation.
- Timed - Increase duration of Transformation by an additional 3 seconds.
If the Terror Vial is consumed at 100 stacks, Dyad immediately heals (and any bonuses if upgraded) and transforms for 12 seconds, granting him access to a new set of abilities. Dyad can only cast each of his transformed abilities once per transformation. While transformed, Dyad cannot gain any stacks for his Terror Vial.
Q - _ Knife Throw / Swift End_
Knife Throw - Range: 625 Dyad prepares his knives every 18 seconds (affected by Cooldown Reduction), up to 3 knives can be ready at a time. Swift End - Range: 400 While transformed, Dyad strikes a ferocious blow on the target, if the target's HP is below 40%, it immediately deals 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 + (30% of the target's missing Health) Physical Damage and grants Dyad 10% bonus Movement Speed. If the target's HP is above 40%, damage is dealt over 3 seconds.

Slow decays overtime. Whenever an enemy unit dies, Stifling Cut's Cooldown is reduced by 1 (1.5 for Enemy Champions).
Fatal Draw - Area Radius: 500 Dyad launches several knives around him, dealing 160 / 180 / 200 / 220 / 240 + (80% of Attack Damage) Physical Damage to all enemy units over 5 seconds, dealing 30% less total damage against Enemy Champion.

Ultimate - Desperate Death

Passive is disabled while Desperate Death is in Cooldown.
Active - Cooldown: 30 seconds Dyad sacrifices 10% of his current Health and converts half of the amount into stacks for his Terror Vial and inflicting Grievous Wounds to himself for 2 seconds. Additionally it removes any crowd control affecting him and grants him increased 15% Damage Reduction for 3 seconds, decaying rapidly.
Cannot be used if Dyad's maximum health is below 5%. Desperate Death's Active cannot be used while Transformed.
GAMEPLAY
Dyad carries two souls, one of a gentlemanly marksman that can harass enemy champions with assault of his knives paired with his mobility and the second is that of a ferocious mid-range assassin that will either slowly or quickly kill their target if caught off-guard. Dyad mainly relies on his abilities and cooldown, having no resource allows him to safely farm and stay in lane.
Dyad's Early Gameplay revolves on farming passively, allowing him to stack up his Terror Vial in order to use it in later fights or when in need of a heal. It is advisable to keep the Terror Vial at near full, just in case you don't need to transform but instead receive a hefty heal. Terror Vial in fights can be used to instantly heal Dyad as well as allow him to use his powerful abilities once in order to turn the tides of battle for him.
Dyad's Knife Throw and Steel Rain are his bread and butter, allowing him to sweep through minion waves with ease as well as keeping his Terror Vial in check. Since Knife Throw is an Ammo-based Skill, ensuring to keep at least a single charge allows Dyad to keep enemy champions at a safe distance through the bonus movement speed provided and if combined with Stifling Cut, will certainly give Dyad room for breathing. Alternatively, using Knife Throw to gain maximum bonus speed with a follow-up with Steel Rain allows you to initiate a fight, combined with Stifling Cut to lock the fight, allowing you to assault your foes with Basic Attacks and a last Knife Throw from Steel Rain to secure a kill.
When transformed, Dyad's Abilities dramatically changes but may only be used once so utilizing the chain of his abilities is the key for securing a kill or winning a fight even after reverting back to his normal self. Swift End, despite having a range shorter than his basic attacks, allows you to quickly end a dying enemy champion or otherwise, continue dealing damage slowly allowing you to earn the kill. Deep Incision allows Dyad and his allies to track their fleeing enemy through trails of blood left by the affected enemy champion, allowing either Dyad or his allies to corner or plan ahead of time. Fatal Draw, while deals most of the damage out of the three, is purely utilized in clearing enemy minions or dealing damage to multiple enemy champions in a teamfight.
Dyad's Ultimate, Desperate Death, allows him to sacrifice a portion of his Health in order to gain stacks for his Terror Vial when out of the lane but ultimately, Desperate Death's key effects are versatile and can suite Dyad's situation. Defensively, Dyad can survive an encounter or in a fight by means of removing crowd control and granting a decaying damage reduction while stacking Knife Throw and Stifling Cut to escape. Offensively, when used in a middle of a fight, with the short coming of reducing Dyad's health, he gains a good damage reduction to trade blows with.
Playing Dyad requires players to use Terror Vial, his normal abilities and his transformed abilities all together to pull out his potential. Harassing enemy champions with Steel Rain followed by initiating the fight with stacking his Knife Throw allows you to get in a good distance between you and your opponent. Activating Stifling Cut and/or Desperate Death before consuming Terror Vial allows you to slow your foe through a Basic Attack in the middle of your combo. Ideally, knowing the distance of Swift End right before transformation allows you to quickly use it against the enemy champion at the start of the fight followed by Deep Incision in close to middle range for a near-guaranteed hit. Given Fatal Draw's long damage overtime effect, it is best used in minion waves right after your transformation is about to disappear, allowing you to instantly gain some stacks for your Terror Vial to gain a small yet quick heal.
Utilizing Deep Incision's Bleed to track down your foes while paying attention to your Desperate Death's Passive, allows you to practically lead your prey towards you to close the kill.
