What if Annie's bear Tibbers was more of a guardian than just a fluffy Manhattan Project?
I know there are some people who consider popping a quick R-W combo to stun and deal 1500+ damage to an entire team "fun and balanced," somehow, but what if her ult was something other than just another way to nuke an entire team unfairly? Riot has always spoke of their inmost desire to create a true tag-team champion, even after they missed their shot with Kindred and removed the idea from Quinn.
Here's just an idea I've been thinking of as a way to rework this dynamic duo.
Just a warning, I hate base stats, so ignore the ones I add if you think they're bad.
Passive: Upon reaching level 6 and unlocking her ultimate, Annie gains the ability to swap control back and forth between Annie and Tibbers. When Annie is active, Tibbers stays close to Annie and between her and the nearby enemy champion which has dealt the most total damage to champions. When a melee champion gets close to Annie, Tibbers automatically uses his Q (Pry) on the enemy champion, before the ability goes on a 14/10/6 second cooldown (Scaling at levels 1, 6 and 11). When Tibbers is active, Annie keeps a safe distance behind Tibbers and away from enemies, and every 5 second she automatically uses her Q (Disintegrate) on the nearest enemy, prioritising champions. When Annie dies, Tibbers dies too with a 20-second cooldown, but when Tibbers dies, Annie lives, but Tibbers goes on a 90/60/45 second cooldown (At levels 1, 6 and 11) before Annie can summon him with her ult again.
Annie's Abilities (When playing as her) Q: Disintegrate This can stay the same, since it's pretty much the only balanced ability she currently has that's any bit balanced. (But since I'm getting rid of her absolutely putrid passive stun, I'll add it here) Using Disintegrate on an enemy that has been struck with hard cc within the last 5 seconds will be stunned for 1 second (1.5 if the target was affected by Tibbers's Pry).
W: Something here, I dunno. As long as it's not another giant nuke thing like Incinerate. That's just disgusting.
E: Guardian's Bond - Cooldown: 20/19/18/17/16 seconds Tibbers's health regenerates 200/300/400/500/600 (+ 30/35/40/45/50% AP) health over 4 seconds, and 30/35/40/45/50 of damage (Not true damage) dealt to Annie is redirected to Tibbers for 4 seconds. When Tibbers isn't up, Annie's damage reduction is halved. That's simple enough.
R: Tibbers! Annie lobs Tibbers (The stuffed bear, not the big son of a bitch) at a specific location, and after a short delay, the bear explodes for 55% AP Magic damage and knocks enemies away from the centre, transforming into the playable companion Tibbers. So this is like Ziggs's Satchel, but bigger, and more dramatic. Reactivating her ult toggles player control between Annie and Tibbers, Tibbers having a whole new set of basic abilities. Speaking of which...
Tibbers's Abilities (When playing as him) Q: Pry - Cooldown: 13/12/11/10/9 seconds Tibbers gains 35% movement speed when running towards Annie for four seconds, and his three next basic attacks gain 35/40/45/50/55% attack speed and are empowered. His first auto stuns his target for 0.5 seconds. His second auto flips the attacker away from Annie, regardless of positioning. His third auto deals 8% of the targets's missing health. Using the first auto of Pry on an enemy champion that has used a basic attack against Annie in the last 2 seconds will have Annie use her Q (Disintegrate) on that champion, and refund half of Pry's cooldown.
W: Pounce - Cooldown: 6 seconds at all ranks Tibbers leaps a short distance at an enemy unit. Upon impact, he deals 50% AP magic damage and leaves a wake dealing 25% AP magic damage per second for two seconds.
E: Command: Protect - Cooldown: 30/28/26/24/22 seconds Tibbers picks Annie up and carries her for 8 seconds, making her untargetable, but Annie receives 50/45/40/35/30% of total damage instead of Tibbers. Etc. It's 4AM, now. I've been working on this between games.
R: Same as Annie's because they switch with it.
So I kinda just pulled stuff out of my ass with their W's, but everything else sounded alright. What do you guys think?
