Basically champions that are older and out of their prime/glory days or starting to fade out. Some sample champions:

When he first started changing Noxus around and was feared but also admired. He is still well known but he is getting older.

When Illaoi was in a relationship with him she mentioned how he had dashing looks and had a strong look in his eyes. What did he look like in his prime?

Back when he was still alive and back stabbed Kalista. The charming young man before he became what he is today.

If you know the lore they were glorious before but after a thousandish years they are way past their prime. What were they like before?

Before he was resurrected but was a war hero feared across the lands.

Before being all humanity must be changed and trying to kill Jayce.

Before she left Zaun.

Before he was corrupted.

Before we went all shadow.
