Rock is a Fighter/Mage. He does his best in mid and top lanes. He is a melee champion but majority of his kit allows for ranged moves. He has his hardest time fighting against life steal and critical opponents. Rock uses his guitar that is also shaped like an axe, which he calls Axe through writing, as his weapon. He swings it at his opponents to deal damage and uses it to do ranged abilities and gain bonus and healing effects.

Lore:

Rock was born in the nice quiet place of Ionia where he could feel at peace with many things and lived a good childhood. That was until he turned 23 and his life was shattered. He was quietly and a few others were escorted out of the country to another place so they could be safe from the fight that had happened to ensue. His town may had won but his mind was fed up with there peaceful nature. He set out to find something that might help. But he had a flaw. Rock was tone deaf. The only way he could communicate was through a mysterious instrument, resembling a guitar, that he used to show his emotions to others.

He began his search for fulfillment in the city. It was with this instrument that he caught good attention from many different by standers but they didn't last long as people began to take notice of Sona and her music. Outraged by this, he began looking for his own way of music. He soon caught the sound of heavy metal. As he listened and studied this new sound he began to understand. He then changed his look and sound to a more gruesome look, his instrument he now named "Axe", and began to gain the attention he craved. He had even learned how to use his guitar as a weapon. Began going out as a assassin and coming back unscratched from the event. Slowly but surely Rock began to like this new way of life. He wandered about those Ionians who could not comprehend this power one could hold. It wasn't long before the Institute of War heard of his doings. If this were to continue, things would turn for the worse surely. So they made him a deal, come to League of Legends and fight. You can kill all you want but you mustn't do this assassin thing anymore. He agreed and went to the League of Legends. That is were he met Sona face to face.

Sona was happy to meat someone like her but for Rock is was not the same. He knew that this girl had an instrument that could touch hearts and also break them. She was one of the Champion favorites. And he couldn't stand this woman. His guitar was the opposite. It was for the body. His guitar had the ability to strength and weaken physical bodies. He'd known this for some time while being a assassin.

But Sona was still better. How? These thoughts brought with them jealousy and he had to best her. To prove his worth. And maybe, just maybe, show the Ionians that his new way of life may be the key to a brighter future. No one would dare touch them again as Rock: the Heavy Metal Killer was there.

Kit:

(Passive) Hard Note For every (0.13%) Ability Power, Rock gains +1% Attack Damage. Q Traumatize Rock plays a hard note that hits 1 ememy. This attack sends out 70/90/110/130/150 damage (+60% Ability Power) and silences the opponent for 1.1 seconds. (This is a skill shot that Rock emits into one line. It hits the first enemy it lands on.) Range: 850 Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana Recharge: 7 seconds W Surround Sound Rock plays note that sends vibration to enemies near him 25/45/65/85/105 damage (+20% Attack Damage) (+20% Ability Power). This ability lasts for 3 seconds. Range: 700 Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 mana Recharge: 12 seconds E Life Song Rock can send out a note on a enemy that decreases their health by 2/4/6/8/10 (+0.2% Attack Damage) (+0.4% Ability Power) per second for 4 seconds or heals an ally for the same amount for 4 seconds. When put on himself, it grows to 2.5/4.5/6.5/8.5/10.5 (+0.7% of Ability power) per second and lasts for 4 seconds and removes slows, taunts, and snares. If this effect is on a minion and the minion dies from the effect, the mana spent will be refunded by 50%. If an enemy champion dies while having this effect, Rock is refunded by 75%. (This is a target shot. The opponent or ally must be in the needed range for this to affect either.) Range: 820 Cost 55/60/65/70/85 mana Recharge: 8 seconds R Axe Chord Rock's ultimate allows him to send out a chord to surrounding enemies dealing 40/60/80 damage (+50% Ability Power) and gains 20/40/60 attack (+40% attack damage) for his next attack. This effect is indefinite which means the effect of the boost is not lost until it has been made to an enemy champion, minion, or monster. This effect deals -25% on towers. Range: 750 Cost: 60/70/80 mana Recharge: 7 seconds

Doom Bots Mode:

If ever put into doombots, this champion will gain tremendous disadvantages.

The passive will increase to every (0.25%) Ability power Rock gains 2% Attack Damage.

All abilities remain the same but will gain more effects.

The Q will gain the added effect of a bleeding effect of for every 0.2%/0.4%/0.6%/0.8%/1% of health the opponent has for 2 seconds. The cast will also target 3 separate targets.

The W will gain a mana regen effect of for ever 3/2.5/2/1.5/1 damage given, Rock restores 5% of his missing mana.

If an opponent to Rock has E on them, then all attacks and spells while they have E will gain +20% damage.

Rock's R now enables him to taunt enemies in R's radius and he gains +2%/+4%/+6% attack speed for 5 seconds.

Rock's look is the same as most rockstars. He resembles the looks from Pentakill but I don't have the skill to draw that.

Rock also has jokes:

Rock will play a tune on his guitar and then raise his hand in the air as sparks fly out of nowhere beside him.

Taunts

Rock will point his guitar, Axe, at his opponent and then have the Axe seem like he's cutting his throat. (When in front of Sona) Rock will make a fake piano similar to Sona's with his guitar, then will smash it with his guitar. (In front of Pentakill Sona) Acts like he's playing his guitar then points at Sona.

Dance: Rock will play his guitar and fists will appear out of nowhere moving up and down quickly like in a show.

Laugh: Plays a humorous chord on Axe.

Skin:

Country Rock: Rock gets down on the prairie with his new western get-up. Wears jeans, button down shirt, boots, and a cowboy hat. His guitar is now a regular looking guitar with two blades at the ends.

When Sona is playing either against or with Rock, an objective will appear that reads "Best Musician". Your goal is to get more kills than Sona, less deaths, or more assists. If at least 1 out of 3 is gained by the end of the game, then Rock will dance for victory win or lose. If he does not, he will drop down to his knees and pound the ground with his fist.

while reading this i couldn't stop myself from thinking of this as a mordekaiser Mordekaiser champion with a different lore and a guitar (which is used already in a skin) and the play style seams remarkably similar to Mordekaisers i didnt quite understand the ultimate tho

it seems like a decent idea but does not scream new or original to me

His passive is really... weird... But in a good way!

He's very interesting, and I think with a little work he could be awesome.

Kit

His abilities are a little hard to understand the way they are written. I can't tell if they are skill-shots or targeted, or if they just hit everyone near him (except for his W, which is quite clear). Other than that, the abilities themselves seem fine, although the range on W is a bit high for what it does.

Lore

I really like the idea of having a rival for Sona! But I wish this rivalry was fleshed out a little more. All we seem to have is a character who's story is almost the same as her's, except he doesn't like her because her music is more popular. I'm certain you can do more. :) Maybe their instruments are destined to oppose each other, or perhaps the music they create has a greater purpose than anyone other than the two of them realizes? Spice it up a bit.
