Hello, After some more consideration and reading a bunch of feedback, I am back with another swing at a Mordekaiser Rework. Check out the older discussions and leave some feedback if you have the time. Thanks!

FIRST REWORK

SECOND REWORK A little more focus on the ult here, plus some cleaning up of the first rework's abilities. If anything is unclear, feel free to ask for context; I will add context to this post as needed.

Passive: Lodestone Remnant

Mordekaiser passively charges a magnetic shield that takes up to 25% of all damage that would be dealt to him by projectiles based on the distance between himself and his aggressor on impact. If this shield is broken, it remains disabled until it reaches 50% of its maximum strength.

Q: Nightfall’s Approach

FIRST CAST: Mordekaiser’s next 3 basic attacks within 7 seconds deal modified damage, increasing with every subsequent attack against the same target. Mordekaiser also gains the ability to recast this ability once to knock away nearby enemies.

SECOND CAST: After a brief wind-up, Mordekaiser knocks all enemies beside him in the direction of his choosing, limited to a 90 degree cone in the direction of his swing. Enemy champions that collide with other champions or terrain are stunned briefly, and any champions that are collided with are stunned for half as long.

(Target a spot near you and a direction like Rumble ult, then Morde winds up and swings, knocking all enemies in that spot in the direction, but he can only send them in a 90 degree cone in the direction of his swing)

Mace of Spades resets Mordekaiser’s autoattack timer.

W: Harvester of Sorrow

PASSIVE: While active, Mordekaiser’s basic attacks and knockbacks hurl shrapnel in his target’s general direction, dealing damage and reducing the resistances of all enemies hit. The shrapnel then returns to Mordekaiser, dealing reduced damage on the way back and healing him for a percentage of the total damage dealt. While active, Lodestone Remnant's shield restoration is increased.

TOGGLE: Over a brief period, Mordekaiser surrounds himself in a cloud of shrapnel, dealing damage and reducing the resistances of all nearby enemies each second based on his ability power and armor. This storm becomes increasingly powerful over the duration, at the cost of Mordekaiser’s health.

CURSE: While an enemy is Cursed by Mordekaiser, they will be surrounded by a cloud of shrapnel while this ability is active. That enemy will not receive damage from their own cloud, but nearby enemies will be damaged and have their resistances reduced each second.

E: Rein the Weak

ACTIVE: Mordekaiser wrenches the souls of enemies in his gaze for 4 seconds, harming them for (a percentage of their maximum health) magic damage each second. While active, Mordekaiser is shielded for 10% of the premitigation damage dealt each second plus 5% of his maximum health each second if an enemy champion is caught in his gaze. This shield decays overtime, down to 25% of its maximum value.

CURSE: Cursed enemies caught in Mordekaiser’s gaze are grounded and are increasingly slowed for every second that he remains fixated on them.

R: Children of the Grave

PASSIVE - DRAGON FORCE: Mordekaiser's basic attacks and abilities Curse the Dragon and Rift Herald for 10 seconds.

ACTIVE: Mordekaiser blasts an enemy champion, dealing magic damage and afflicting them with an increasingly debilitating Nearsight Curse over the next 10 seconds, ending if Mordekaiser dies.

CURSE: If Mordekaiser's team scores a takedown on a Cursed enemy, he temporarily enslaves their soul as a controllable ghost and gains a percentage of all of their BONUS stats. Enslaving the Dragon or Rift Herald will kill Mordekaiser's current ghost and prevent him from summoning a new one while it survives.

SECOND ACTIVE: While a ghost is active, Children of the Grave can be used to move them to the target location.

ALSO, just wondering. What would you guys think of Mordekaiser's target receiving it's own AI like a Hard bot or something? I feel like it might be a neat concept.

I think Q and E need work...somehow Im not fond of Morde having natural CCs when the Devs already have a personal item in the making
