Master Thief Wukong

Just when I was checking all the skin lines, I thought why not give MonkeyKing a "Master Thief" skin?

Monkeys are well known to be master thieves in real life, so he should join the ratTwitch and Evelynn .

It's been almost 2 years and I really could use a new Wukong skin. He only gets skins once every couple of years and jhin already has the same amount of skins as wukong has recieved since release and Wukong is 4-5 years older.

popular champs can be a bit of a pain in the skin department sometimes. Lucky, Wukong isn't (or at least hasn't been) A champ who normally goes too long without a skin. I think at the most there is about 2 year gaps between his skins, so there is a good chance a skin opportunity is coming up for him in 2018.

Unfortunately, PROJECT is a human only skin line. There are now like 13 or something stupid amount of skins and they're all human, i don't think this is a coincidence.

There has not ever been anything saying that anywhere and even if there was, Riot always bends the "rules" of skins when it suits their needs. Always. Wukong would be extremely easy to bend the supposed rule by making him a human with a cybernetic tail for it.

As i said, every single project has deliberately been a human, there are far far better candidates for cyborg champs. Imagine PROJECT: Kled. He could ride a mecha skarl. Imagine PROJECT: Twitch. He's a massively popular ADC and there's so much that could be done for him. Why dont these 2 popular champs get project skins? Because they're not human

Rito doesnt ALWAYS fuck around, Some things are deliberate. What i said about wukong not being a project skin candidate wasn't meant to offend anyone, so idk why i got downvoted to hell, but i guess people are a litttttle too passionate about their champs.

Just cause you wish it to be the case doesn't make it true. At all. This is literally just putting words in Riots mouth cause you don't like the concept of a skin and will say whatever you have to to get it out of peoples heads.

Riot's FAVORITE thing to do is bend the rules on everything involving league. Almost every other champ anymore has some mechanic that turns the rules on their heads and They do the same with skins. If they have specific rules for skins that they want to keep, they will mention it (and even then it may not hold true). Other then that its up to the skin designers and how much fans want it.

Your getting downvoted cause you are making up rules and saying they're facts just cause you hate the idea. The champs that were chosen so far have themes that work for the skin line ether being speedy attackers or just by having aspects that Riot could run with being Vi getting hard light gauntlets or Leona getting a high tech shield. Someone else said the same thing about Omega Squad being a yordel only skin line, but then we got Omega Squad Twitch and Fizz, short yea, but in no way yordels as stated by Riot.

And the real question is, why do you care? why are you trying to shoot down ideas for a champ you don't even use? You literally have NO stake in this at all. Feel free to say you don't like the idea, but don't make up rules just for your sake.

**I said, at no point in my comments, that i strictly dislike the concept of project wukong, frankly he's overdue for a skin (thus the ORIGINAL TOPIC OF THIS THREAD), i'm simply stating that from the information available to us now that it is doubtful. I don't PLAY the champion, as stated above, so i'm relatively indifferent as to the outcome of if he gets a skin of any specific line or not. It sounds to me that you are the biased one, whom loves to put words into people's mouths, at this point in time. But i'll bite, Name a time where i stated that i specifically hate wukong, that i dont want people to enjoy a skin out of a reasonless bias, and that i said i "want it to be true".

You will most likely find nothing of the sort, but i'll choose not to discriminate or flame you for that ignorance, so you do you man.**

**They do bend the rules of skin lines, but not to the degree you claim. Everyone and their mother has asked for Star Guardian Urgot, but when the SG wave 2 came out months ago, the only "unique" pick was having the first male SG, in Ezreal, a champion that conceptually fits perfectly with their anime school-kids kind of theme.

If you can give me a genuinely awesome reason to have a literal monkey among cyborg humans, all of whom have a specific single-minded, deep-programmed objective, then go ahead and fire it Riot's way. maybe it'll happen, seeing as PROJECT Vi and PROJECT Jhin were both community made skins before riot made them reality. Same with beekeeper singed, and possibly Arklight Yorick but i do not know that for certain

Also, as to your first point, why wouldn't every champion have something unique? If they did not, nobody would care who plays what champions, because they would all be the same. That statement is meaningless in this argument about skins, so please take it elsewhere**

**The omega squad line was started with only teemo, a long long time ago. Considering that there was only one criteria and that it was "seem interesting in a post-apoc war scenario" you could frankly have thrown anyone in. However, you could always say that it IS themed, as the opposite of PROJECT, which is a strictly non-human skin line with a similar motif of futuristic post-apoc soldiers/hunters.

If the "rule of cool" was the only thing that made PROJECT skins fit a criteria, then you could throw PROJECT Kayle or PROJECT Wukong or PROJECT Xerath, or PROJECT Vel'koz into the line right now and it would fit just fine, but they haven't yet. Ahri is a fan-favorite champion, as seen by her 10 or something skins, so why riot hasnt done PROJECT Ahri yet is an enigma, no? Well, not the best example since she did get a SG skin only months ago but Jhin getting 3 skins in 1 year and Yi getting 2 is a good example that i could be just blowing smoke about that several-month rest period.**

If you want to have a factless debate in which you simply put words into my mouth because i shot down the idea of PROJ. Wukong, not because of opinions but because of logic, then i shall rebuke them with a more dignified response. I do not imagine it'll be a popular response, but it will at least be some variety from the circlejerk.

Dude, I'm not putting words in your mouth, you are doing it yourself. There is Literally no reason for Wukong not to get a project skin yet you are trying to say some there is an imaginary rule by Riot that only humans get project skins. If that's not "I hate this idea and I'm trying to make shit up cause I hate this skin" Then stop acting like you know things that you don't. All it does is make you sound like an idiot who is trying to state things to sound smart while putting words in Riots mouth in the process.

And let me reiterate the point I made about "YOU DON'T USE HIM". Why the hell are you shooting down ideas for skins for a champ you don't even play? It's rude to the guy who is asking for the idea, its rude to Riot who you are trying to talk for without any form of actual evidence that they said those exact words and its rude to the mains of that champ who have been wanting a skin like that for their main for YEARS.

I will say that if you said "It doesn't seem likely cause they are all humans, but you never know" that would have been fine, but you acted like you actually heard them say that its a human skin line. The fact is that its never been stated that it is and its sad that you are trying to make that a rule

There is ZERO reason for him to get any skin outside of MAYBE Omega Squad, Cause Riot actually stated tall champs won't get those. Hell, star guardian isn't even off the table anymore since EZ got one. Please for the sake of not spreading false info, stop making up rules that don't exist. It's pathetic. But whatever, if that's not going to convince you to stop lying to people about "skin rules" then I don't know what will. Guess keep being salty then :^)

Every Arclight skin used champions that start with V til yorick. Unless it is specifically stated it isn't out of the question.
