You mean an adc is doing better in a tank/adc/enchanter meta than an assassin who get's countered by both tanks and enchanters?
Who would have thought.......
IDK what assassins you guys are playing but FYI
isn't an assassin.
I have no issue destroying squishies as Akali and last time i played against talon he still went badabing badaboom and i was dead without any issues.
Every single time i've played twitch i have needed about 3 Auto's to kill a squishy. Well i guess we should gut mages cuz they hit me (as twitch btw) for about 50% of my hp with 1 ability. oh wait that's cuz i got no resistances so it's fine.
A squishy might not be ablte to 1v1 twitch at all times but they can atleast survive against him, when zed decides an adc dies they die.
But then Enchanter supports come into play, they bring one of the most broken mechanics in league: SHIELDS
Shields counter everything (as long as it's dmg) and aren't countered by anything, they especially counter burst and thus assassins.
Assassins counter squishy targets but mages can actually fight back => Assassin counters ADC especially.
ADCs build AD, AS, Crit or lethality and lifesteal -> lifesteal makes your health bar drop slower by healing while you apply (and most likely take) damage.
Shields prevent you from taking damage directly to your health -> this allows heals to be more effective -> Lifesteal = heal
=> shields are amazing for lifesteal users = shields are amazing for ADC.
So now you have strong tanks running around and ADC who's main weakness is being taken away by Enchanters. Why should an assassin be good in a meta like that?
Now why can twitch feel as oppressive as an assassin? because he is an assassin.
Twitch has ALWAYS been marked as a Marksman first and Assassin second. When i first started playing twitch youmuu's rush "assassin twitch" was quite popular (but i don't like the item so meh).
The only time i am capable of assassinating someone as twitch is when i built
but then i lose alot of teamfight potential i would have with the standard crit build.
