[Suggestion] Allow us to convert skins into skin shards @Riot E-commerce

Hey guys,

I have MANY MANY skins I've aquired throughout the years. When I bought em, they were cool but as newer and newer skins came out for those champions, I've never used those skins again.

I have 3-4 skins, for multiple champions. Aquired through purchases, random hextech chests and mystery gifting.

What I humbly suggest is for us to be able to convert existing skins that we have, into skin shards.

That way instead of sitting uselesly in our inventory, never being used, we can disenchant them for essence, or convert 3 owned skins into a random skin permament.

What do you guys think?

Do many players have skins they dont use anymore, and would like to get rid of?

Or is this a bad idea and no one would use this feature.

Please let me know if you guys would want this feature, made by the ecommerce team. In short it would allow you to get rid of unwanted skins and convert them into skin shards for free use within hextech crafting.

I believe this is commercially fair and unlike refunds, because you can only convert your owned skin into 1/3 of its original value.

The main goal of this is to dissolve my many 520 RP and other shit tier skins. I have skins for most champs .... but I only use 1 most of the time. You should let me dissolve that skin for some essence at least. (Got a Project YI skin from the EVENT, but got no Essence.)
