With my hatred for ADCs and autos, how about a new champ?
So, yeah. I hate ADCs -- like, a lot. I hate the fact that they have the easiest kits in the game, yet destroy entire teams by just right clicking and going AFK. So how about a champion specifically designed to fight ranged, targeted abilities? I don't have a full kit, stats, lore or anything, but I have a couple ability ideas.
Ability 1: So, the champ (let's just call them Jeff) shoots a projectile at a target location. As it flies, it absorbs all projectiles (so they disappear) within its net area, and explodes upon reaching a champion or the target location, dealing X damage (dealing additional damage based on the projectiles it absorbed, whether that be a flat increase per individual projectile, or absorbing part of their damage)
Ability 2: I donno if this one is possible with Riot's engine, but: Jeff dashes in a direction, dealing damage to enemies he passes though (not a whole ton), and reflects projectiles that hit him while dashing (so a slower dash) -- they would bounce off depending on his direction. If it's an auto, they could just disappear, or fly a set distance in the direction Jeff is going, if it's a skillshot, it would just fly based on Jeff's direction, until they would naturally fade away (or you could possibly reset the distance, and act as if Jeff fired them)
Ability 3: Jeff creates a singularity type thing, that draws in projectiles that pass through it. After a set amount of time (or reactivation) the singularity explodes violently, doing damage (plus more for the projectiles absorbed)
Ability 4: Jeff creates a wall (a circle or square shape) around a champ (or maybe just a location?), and no attacks made by enemy champs can pass through the barrier (they still work inside it and around it)
Ability 5: Jeff holds out his hand and creates a small barrier (Like, just barely bigger than him) in the target direction (so like, a half circle, meaning you can hit him from the back or side), absorbing projectiles and autos (melee ones too), and can release the absorbed energy in a burst that knocks back enemies it hits.
Ability 6: Jeff creates a zone, protecting all nearby allies, causing all projectiles to be redirected to him (he takes greatly reduced damage while channeling), and at the end of the channel unleashes a bolt of energy that increases in damage based on how much damage he took.
I donno if any of these are even good ideas, but I want there to be some kind of counterplay to ADCs, and to make them actually fucking think about what they're doing, instead of just mindlessly carrying games by clicking on people.
