You know what would be awesome to see from Riot?
Their attempt at making an MMOPRG......you know, similar to that of WoW.
Just think of it...
Being able to see Demacia in all of its glory Being able to rise to a position of power in Noxus Wading up the shores of the Shadow Iles Dealing with some shady characters in Bilgewater Being entranced by the beauty of Ionia Trying to hunt down BAndle City, or even a Yordle for that matter! Building Hextech weapons in Piltover Advancing the fields of.....ahem.....science in Zaun Fighting alongside your chosen tribe in the Freljord Crossing the bridge in the Howling Abyss Testing yourself to reach the top of Mount Targon
And, in what would surely be my most favorite area...
Walking up the steps to Azir's palace in Shurima, Avoiding the Xer'sai while trying to cross Sai'Khaleek, Witnessing the destruction of Icathia in person
And thats just listing the major factions.....
We all know that Riot is trying to put the S into Riot GameS....and they kind of have done that with Mechs vs Minions......but I'd say it doesn't exactly count. So, something on the scale of Valoran but set on Runeterra would simply be amazing.
Do I expect to see this from Riot? Not really. There's speculation that a League style Fighting Game (i.e. Mortal Kombat) is in the works, but other then that...we have no idea what Riot is working on (well done at being pretty tight lipped about it). And despite being well over 100 times larger than they were when they first started, they are still no where near the size that Blizzard currently is at. So, an MMO that could Rival the size of WoW might be just out of Riot's reach.
Though....one can dream right?
