I know, I know, your hands are tied in selling it again, but......you did pull a couple strings with Pax Sivir.

So.....do you think it's at all possible to do the same thing with Silver Kayle? Obviously, the legalities of the 2 skins could be completely different to where, unlike Pax Sivir, you can't even sell a damn chroma of the skin.

But, COME ON. You're making a LOT of people jealous right now. Because THIS...

Like....there are plenty of other silver colored metals....chrome, titanium, steel......hell, it doesn't even have to be silver, you can make her bronze or gold, and it would still work (You made Pax Sivir orange for Neo Pax Sivir)!

Just.....PLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE!!!! There are plenty of us that never even knew your game existed around that time, and thus, had no chance to get Silver Kayle! You gotta do something for the rest of us, if you're going to make a skin like THAT!

Didn’t even realize how rare Silver Kayle was until I read this post.

That gorgeous new splash made me so excited to buy it and try it out for myself in game. It’s her coolest looking one now after the VGU.

I think it's incredibly dumb for them to not bring it back. The limited deal thing was what, 8-9 goddamn years ago? How many players who actually got the skin are still playing League to this day? This skin is the one that I hear people talking about the most, and people obviously are willing to drop money on it. This is literally like winning a lottery ticket and not cashing it in.

So what if people get upset that it was their "exclusive skin", who cares? It's still just pixels. What is your life like that you feel the need to justify your exclusivity? And if those people get mad? Whatever, because there's a lot more players now than back then and you'll be making a hell lot more happy than sad.

I thought that Silver Kayle was limited to people who purchased physical copies of League on release. Re-releasing it now would be a pretty shitty move, and a border doesn't do justice. I love randomly seeing exclusive skins in game, because of their rarity. There are a couple of old skins that I'd love to have, but I don't want them made available, because it takes away from what makes them great. We all had access to this shit, and most chose not to invest in League's early life. Let them have a Kayle skin for believing in Riot Games before it was Riot Games.

It's cool that the veteran players and original bedrock supporters of League have something that people can't acquire by vomiting out cash for it. I personally hope that Riot doesn't give in to the cash grabs and whining.

Honestly, I'd agree with the don't re-release people if they didn't change the skin. In this case they made an entirely new skin and said, 99% of you can't get it. As a beta player I have King Rammus (Bowser Colored) if they ended up getting some deal with Nintendo to make it look super bowser-like and put it up for sale... so be it. Then you got skins like Traditional Sejuani and Traditional Trundle where you had to have the character before the VGU, those i get locking to previous holders. Like Young Ryze, kindof bothers me not having, since well that model didnt exist when i started. Black Alistar, hasn't changed a bit tho... at this point the difference between Vaulted Legacy Skins and Limited skins becomes blurry. And since someone brought up SMITE, perma-limited skins piss me off more than anything, more emotionally based than reason and logic based, but still there's no good reason for it. Sits right after lootbox only skins... I'm personally a fan of Square-Enix's stance on it with FFXIV, all of it is locked for 1 year, then everyone else who wants it after that has to use a worse method of getting it.

Yeah, I'm kind of hoping that, at the very least, they bring this skin back in some way, shape, or form. I'm absolutely enamored with post-VGU Silver and Judgement Kayle, and sadly, I wasn't around to get Silver Kayle (or, if I was, I didn't really see any reason to get it as it was just a recolor, but I'm 90% sure I just wasn't around for it), and IIRC, Judgement Kayle was (like Triumphant Ryze) a tournament reward, and...Yeahp, wasn't there for that, either.

The wiki only really says "Limited Distribution", but either way, Judgement and Silver Kayle look amazing, and I'd be remiss if there wasn't an opportunity to at least get one of them.

Sorry, but i really hope they dont bring back Silver Kayle or pull some shit like Championship Riven etc. Silver Kayle is the same as Black Alistar or Young Ryze. You got it, or you dont. They didnt rerelease Young Ryze or Black Alistar, so i doubt they will do it with Silver Kayle.

But if they do, honestly, fuck Riot and give me a Black Alistar.

Should exclusive skins really be exclusive forever though?

Isn't there a point where you've had the skin exclusively for 5-10 years where you've already got the value out of it?

It all seems pretty silly to me. Not too bothered either way though. At least League only has a few exclusives, unlike games such as Smite where they make over half the skins exclusives.

Silver Kayle should absolutely not be available. Same with Judgement Kayle and all of the other limited skins. It was a stipulation of the sale that IF you bought this skin, THEN it would be exclusive. Period, end of discussion. Honestly, how many of you cared about Silver Kayle 3 days ago? And now a skin that you don't care about gets reworked into something beautiful, you're suddenly up in arms and demand equality! No, screw that. This skin was for people who supported Riot back in the day and it should stand as something you can't buy, something truly special in a world full of loot boxes and microtransactions and season passes and paywalls, it should stand as an obelisk from a time where people often bought physical copies of games.

And if Riot gave it the Championship Riven/Urfwick treatment, it would just be a slap in the face. It was disgraceful then and it would be disgraceful now.

Riot, if you're reading this, know that the old guard is out there and still supporting you. There really aren't that many skins players can't get these days. Let them have this. You could make it available and sure you'd make a ton of money, but as a player you know what the right thing to do is.

people only covet these type of skins because it was built into the game from the start, its not particularly healthy for the players and there are ways to make exclusive skins that give a sense of accomplishment that aren't gated in the same way as this one is.

I'm not thinking of buying it since I already have a gorgeous skin for her and I'm intrigued by Trascended, yet it would be awesome for who missed it.

I don't think I've EVER seen silver Kayle in game. Didn't even know it existed. So...I doubt I'll see it much now. Looks amazing though.

Rito, Why is the Silver Kayle in-game model so inferior to this godlike splash?? She doesn't have the coat, so much is different, the sword looks super bulky and nothing like this. Is it not finished yet or something?

I knew about the game when Silver Kayle was around but since i was a teenager, of course i didn't have the funds to pre-order League nor was i going to ask my parents to do that for me. In the end, i was "too young" to buy stuff online and now that i do actually have means to do so, i missed out on a good "freebie.

At that time i probably wouldn't have cared if i got Silver Kayle but over the time (before her rework) i got into Kayle and as with any champ i decide to invest my time in harder than the rest, i want to own their full collection.

I had played 10 matchmade games in S1 and have received Judgement Kayle. I was there when Riot gifted Riot Kayle for their 10th birthday, which was around 12th September 2016, if memory serves. Silver Kayle is the only one i will never be able to obtain and that sucks, which is why i would be pretty stoked if i could at least get a skin "replacement" for that skin in order to have my eventual full collection.
