I know, I know, your hands are tied in selling it again, but......you did pull a couple strings with Pax Sivir.

So.....do you think it's at all possible to do the same thing with Silver Kayle? Obviously, the legalities of the 2 skins could be completely different to where, unlike Pax Sivir, you can't even sell a damn chroma of the skin.

Like....there are plenty of other silver colored metals....chrome, titanium, steel......hell, it doesn't even have to be silver, you can make her bronze or gold, and it would still work (You made Pax Sivir orange for Neo Pax Sivir)!

Just.....PLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE!!!! There are plenty of us that never even knew your game existed around that time, and thus, had no chance to get Silver Kayle! You gotta do something for the rest of us, if you're going to make a skin like THAT!

I think it's incredibly dumb for them to not bring it back. The limited deal thing was what, 8-9 goddamn years ago? How many players who actually got the skin are still playing League to this day? This skin is the one that I hear people talking about the most, and people obviously are willing to drop money on it. This is literally like winning a lottery ticket and not cashing it in.

So what if people get upset that it was their "exclusive skin", who cares? It's still just pixels. What is your life like that you feel the need to justify your exclusivity? And if those people get mad? Whatever, because there's a lot more players now than back then and you'll be making a hell lot more happy than sad.

I thought that Silver Kayle was limited to people who purchased physical copies of League on release. Re-releasing it now would be a pretty shitty move, and a border doesn't do justice. I love randomly seeing exclusive skins in game, because of their rarity. There are a couple of old skins that I'd love to have, but I don't want them made available, because it takes away from what makes them great. We all had access to this shit, and most chose not to invest in League's early life. Let them have a Kayle skin for believing in Riot Games before it was Riot Games.

It's cool that the veteran players and original bedrock supporters of League have something that people can't acquire by vomiting out cash for it. I personally hope that Riot doesn't give in to the cash grabs and whining.

So every single thing in existence, collectible/limited or not that came out before the big guy's 10th birthday should just be made readily available because you said so?

Entitlement? They just said they didn't have a choice in the matter, not that they deserve the skin. And you can still get the first issues of X-Men if you pay enough money so I mean..

The first X-Men comic, just like the first automobiles, were physical objects, limited by manufacturing costs and supply and demand. They're only worth making when there's enough people who want to purchase them, and when people do want them, shit like comics get re-released all the time. Especially digitally, where things like manufacturing are not a concern.

First this skin was available for years after launch. Second it's a skin that the veterans also just vomited out cash to buy, cause that's actually what you do for every skin. It was also never marketed as a limited offer.

It's nice that Silver Kayle will actually be worth picking for the first time in about a decade (Judgement Kayle was leagues better imho).

Hopefully gameplay catches up to the art team in terms of quality so that the game she's in is actually worth playing.

Honestly, I'd agree with the don't re-release people if they didn't change the skin. In this case they made an entirely new skin and said, 99% of you can't get it. As a beta player I have King Rammus (Bowser Colored) if they ended up getting some deal with Nintendo to make it look super bowser-like and put it up for sale... so be it. Then you got skins like Traditional Sejuani and Traditional Trundle where you had to have the character before the VGU, those i get locking to previous holders. Like Young Ryze, kindof bothers me not having, since well that model didnt exist when i started. Black Alistar, hasn't changed a bit tho... at this point the difference between Vaulted Legacy Skins and Limited skins becomes blurry. And since someone brought up SMITE, perma-limited skins piss me off more than anything, more emotionally based than reason and logic based, but still there's no good reason for it. Sits right after lootbox only skins... I'm personally a fan of Square-Enix's stance on it with FFXIV, all of it is locked for 1 year, then everyone else who wants it after that has to use a worse method of getting it.

Yeah, I'm kind of hoping that, at the very least, they bring this skin back in some way, shape, or form. I'm absolutely enamored with post-VGU Silver and Judgement Kayle, and sadly, I wasn't around to get Silver Kayle (or, if I was, I didn't really see any reason to get it as it was just a recolor, but I'm 90% sure I just wasn't around for it), and IIRC, Judgement Kayle was (like Triumphant Ryze) a tournament reward, and...Yeahp, wasn't there for that, either.

The wiki only really says "Limited Distribution", but either way, Judgement and Silver Kayle look amazing, and I'd be remiss if there wasn't an opportunity to at least get one of them.

Sorry, but i really hope they dont bring back Silver Kayle or pull some shit like Championship Riven etc. Silver Kayle is the same as Black Alistar or Young Ryze. You got it, or you dont. They didnt rerelease Young Ryze or Black Alistar, so i doubt they will do it with Silver Kayle.

But if they do, honestly, fuck Riot and give me a Black Alistar.

Silver Kayle was part of the Physical Collectors Edition not the pre-order. It's a little bit weird how the exclusive skin for the physical CE is worth much more than the skin for the digital CE.

It all seems pretty silly to me. Not too bothered either way though. At least League only has a few exclusives, unlike games such as Smite where they make over half the skins exclusives.

Silver Kayle should absolutely not be available. Same with Judgement Kayle and all of the other limited skins. It was a stipulation of the sale that IF you bought this skin, THEN it would be exclusive. Period, end of discussion. Honestly, how many of you cared about Silver Kayle 3 days ago? And now a skin that you don't care about gets reworked into something beautiful, you're suddenly up in arms and demand equality! No, screw that. This skin was for people who supported Riot back in the day and it should stand as something you can't buy, something truly special in a world full of loot boxes and microtransactions and season passes and paywalls, it should stand as an obelisk from a time where people often bought physical copies of games.

And if Riot gave it the Championship Riven/Urfwick treatment, it would just be a slap in the face. It was disgraceful then and it would be disgraceful now.

Riot, if you're reading this, know that the old guard is out there and still supporting you. There really aren't that many skins players can't get these days. Let them have this. You could make it available and sure you'd make a ton of money, but as a player you know what the right thing to do is.

people only covet these type of skins because it was built into the game from the start, its not particularly healthy for the players and there are ways to make exclusive skins that give a sense of accomplishment that aren't gated in the same way as this one is.

Judgement Kayle was actually a reward for players who played 10 games during Season 1. As so, it was never on sale and most likely never will be.

There has been history of unavailable skins coming back for a small time after either a VGU or some artistic changes that would strongly change the skin at hand. This also included some reward(s) for who got it in the "intended" time.

True, but I feel like for something on an "old and faithful" magnitude similar to Black Alistar and King Rammus, the odds are much much lower. I wouldn't doubt that they'd re-release somethings like Unmasked Kayle and Silver Kayle, but I'd stay skeptical about Judgement.

I knew about the game when Silver Kayle was around but since i was a teenager, of course i didn't have the funds to pre-order League nor was i going to ask my parents to do that for me. In the end, i was "too young" to buy stuff online and now that i do actually have means to do so, i missed out on a good "freebie.

At that time i probably wouldn't have cared if i got Silver Kayle but over the time (before her rework) i got into Kayle and as with any champ i decide to invest my time in harder than the rest, i want to own their full collection.

I had played 10 matchmade games in S1 and have received Judgement Kayle. I was there when Riot gifted Riot Kayle for their 10th birthday, which was around 12th September 2016, if memory serves. Silver Kayle is the only one i will never be able to obtain and that sucks, which is why i would be pretty stoked if i could at least get a skin "replacement" for that skin in order to have my eventual full collection.

I mean you could have asked for it, or worked out a deal with your parents in terms of extra chores or something. No family members needed help with anything that would have been willing to buy it for you in exchange? I was 13 when I got the collectors pack. I hate the excuse of “I was too young to afford it” it wasn’t an expensive product - 20 or 30 dollars if I remember correctly. Not to mention it was available for about a year or so, so why not ask for it on a birthday or holiday.

My point is if you really wanted it you could have probably found a way to get it. People are acting as if it was some largely expensive product when it just wasn’t. I sincerely hope they don’t “neo sivir” this skin because it devalues the COLLECTORS pack that I received and the account that I maintained for the past 9 or so years.

I sympathize because I too have been playing kayle for several years over several accounts (that I’ve leveled over the years) in many different ELO’s/MMRs but honestly this product should be reserved for the old guard as a love letter to them. I was lucky to keep the information to this account (my first one) because for a while I had dropped the account since way back in the day my ELO was so low (as you can see by my bronze icon) it was easier to start over. But I always kept my collectors pack with the log in information so I could come back to it if I ever wanted to.

Much love and I sincerely hope you love the kayle rework as much as I do, and be proud to rep the Judgement Kayle skin my friend, it still looks really good and is one of my favorites to this day :) I hope you can understand why me and other owners of the skin feel this way. Take care.

Considering that my mom is a single parent and that i haven't purchased any paid games or "packs" when i was a teenager, there was no way i would've asked this for my birthday. To each his own, i guess. I don't pre-order stuff (never will) because of how this practice can turn to predatory really quickly. In fact, my very first game i purchased on pre-order was RE2 Remake since i've been a huge fan when i was a kid, playing it on PS1. The next i'm aiming for is DMC 5. And these are literally few exceptions.

In fact, i threw my first money on RP after like 4+ years of me being a League player because then i knew the experience was going to last me long enough. And that was my money i spent, not my mom's. I don't think that any parents should pay for the child's vidiya games because of a simple reason of knowing how hard it is to earn it in the first place. I'm glad that she didn't pay for my entertainment and i'm glad that i didn't ask of became a fussy kid because i didn't get what i wanted. I managed just fine.

On the other hand, i don't see how NEO PAX Sivir is devaluing the real PAX Sivir skin. How many players have you seen running around with either? I've only seen streamers who actually have everything unlocked and maybe, just barely, 4 people in all my time spent playing League since S1. NEO PAX Sivir is a different colored PAX "chroma" that's only unlockable for 10 Gems, which aren't directly purchased so there's a bit of a tough barrier to even own a replacement.

Likewise, i don't believe that having a replacement for Silver Kayle is going to devalue your skin one bit. Those would be two entirely different skins that have similarities and we still can't unlock the original anyway. This is just a consolation prize for us non-Silver Kayle players. But i do understand your point of view of having to own something that isn't even on sale anymore. But let's be clear here, we've both played this game from the very start and the difference between us shouldn't have be when we've chosen to spend our money on some exclusive. I understand the reason for such exclusives but still, that was when League first emerged on the market as a good MOBA. Many of the accounts who have it are likely not active anymore.
