Mina and Claec are a Shadow Isle champion inspired by the Phantom Prankster Card https://img.rankedboost.com/wp-content/plugins/legends-of-runeterra/assets/card-images/01SI038.png

Mina and Claec are a mid based champ who work together to support each other.... In game, Mina will provide all the AP damage a mage needs to fight with as her dutiful beast Claec who carries her and supports her.

Claec provides a non-castable heal, movement speed buff, and AOE damaging slow. The more damage Mina takes, the quicker the cooldown on his heal... the more CC they take (by duration) they gain a movement speed buff for escaping when necessary, and as she casts her spells, the AOE spell reduces in CD. These spells can be read by the summoner like so for indication on the cooldown of the spell: https://imgur.com/ejkgEW1

**As Mina builds Ability power, cooldown reduction, and magic pen, these non-castable spells can be leveled up much like Kai'sa does. ** For Mina's spells... P - Claec (Explained above. ) Claec provides a non-castable heal, movement speed buff, and AOE damaging slow. Q - Mina's Intrusion: Mina throws a ghostly orb that explodes on impact when hitting an enemy, doing additional damage to the enemies allies around as an AOE (However does not do additional damage to the original enemy) W - Remorseful Encounter: A ghostly ring pulses out from Mina, damaging the enemy around her. Upon recast, the pulse will pull any enemies toward her. E - Doubtful Bash: Mina bashes down on the enemy doing AP damage and taunting the enemy away from her. R -- Claec's Last Wish: Claec pushes Mina off of him, takes root into the ground, and becomes a temporary terrain that blocks enemy projectiles. Once he's sacrificed his self, he will rejoin Mina's side after 35 seconds. _(This works for Lasers and global ults) _ When Claec and Mina are separated, Mina's armor and magic resist is lowered severely, making her very vulnerable to enemies around, however to make up for this reduction, her auto range is increased and her Q range is increased.

I like the abilities, and those abilities give me to think about the past of Mina and Claec. So this is my theory:

Before the ruination,Mina was a child who was alone, every children did not wanted to play with her because she was strange on their opinion. And one day when Mina walked in to an small forest, she met an spirit of nature Claec (Something like Maokai). The spirit was very weak,he struggled between life and death but Mina gave to him some water(or blessed water) and in that way she helped him to survive. For that Claec gave an vow to be always with her and protect her and in that day Mina has finally find a friend.Even after ruination,Mina and Claec walks together.

"Best friends till the end."

Also this theory reminds to me the friendship of Nunu and Willump!

I love that card too, it's so eerie. So glad to see someone take the card and flesh it out.

The biggest problem I have with this, however, is understanding it.

For example, from what I understood, Mina has a leveling system like Kai'sa but with AP, CDR and MPen. They apply to her companion, but how? Do they just increase in damage? Or do they gain additional effects?

If it's just an increase in Damage then they do that automatically with the increase in CDR and AP/Mp. If it's new effects, what are they?

The R, if Claec is gone, does the passive no longer work? If so, 35 seconds without it seems like a huge sacrifice just to become impassible terrain. (Like Yasuo windwall but also not passable?). I think it should provide more benefits or not have a huge negative.

I feel like you can add more to it. Champs come with a paragraph for each ability now. But I love the concept and the companion, League doesn't have enough of it.
