Ludus the Game Master

Short Lore: Despite his childish behavior, Ludus possessed great magical abilities yet it only stemmed from his 'games', creating a dangerous yet fun activity for his friends when he was child. Seeking aid, Ludus came across a man who helped him train his magic, pulling out the full potential of his skills and with it, he hosted competitions that was sought out by adventurers and thrill-seekers by the dangers of his trials.

"Not all games are for children." - Ludus

Abilities

Game on! - Passive When one of his ability is active, Ludus gains a stacking +10% bonus Movement Speed and gains a stacking +1 Gold for each kill which is rewarded at the end of the duration. If Ludus dies to an Enemy Champion, the Gold Bounty accumulated throughout the duration is rewarded instead to the enemy champion.

If all 3 Abilities are currently active, Ludus gains a maximum of +30% bonus Movement Speed and gains +3 Gold for each kill.

Roulette Draw

Upon activation, a marker will randomly appear around units near Ludus for 6 seconds. If activated the second time or upon end of duration, the mark will be triggered.

If an enemy unit is marked, they receive 100 / 130 / 160 / 190 / 230 + (60% of Ability Power) magic damage and is stunned for 1 second.

If an allied unit is marked, they receive a 60 / 80 / 100 / 120 / 140 + (40% of Ability Power) shield for 3 seconds.

Tag!

Randomly tags an enemy unit for 4 seconds, if Ludus or an enemy champion comes in melee range against the tagged unit, the effect is triggered and moved to another unit. Tag may be transferred up to 4 times before disappearing.

If Ludus comes near the tagged unit, they receive 70 / 90 / 110 / 130 / 150 + (90% Ability Power) magic damage and all enemy units around them then the tag is transferred to another random enemy unit.

If an enemy champion instead comes near the tagged unit, the unit and the enemy champion is healed for 25% the amount and then tags another random allied unit.

If Ludus comes near a tagged allied unit, Ludus and the allied unit is healed for the half the amount and then tags another random enemy unit.

Guess Floor

Creates 3 platforms in a target location for 4 seconds at random formation, if an enemy champion steps on the platform it will trigger the following:

Red: Explode upon being stepped on by an enemy champion, dealing 90 / 110 / 130 / 160 / 190 + (20% of Ability Power) magic damage. • Blue: Knock the enemy champion into the air for 1 second. • Green: Grant +20% bonus Movement Speed for 2 seconds which decays rapidly.

Colors are not visible to enemies, only to Ludus and his allies only.

Grand Prize

Ludus marks up to three random enemy champions in a targeted radius, placing them as 1st, 2nd and 3rd for 12 seconds. Killing any of the marked enemy champion grants +10 / +15 / +20 bonus Gold to the killer and Ludus.

  • 1st Place - Amplifies all incoming damage by 3% / 5% / 7% for the duration.

  • 2nd Place - Decreases Armor and Magic Resistance by 40% / 45% / 50% for 4 seconds.

  • 3rd Place - Slowed by 80% for 2 / 2.5 / 3 seconds which decays rapidly.

If Ludus is killed during the Grand Prize, the bonus Gold will be awarded to the enemy killer and assist.

Creator's Notes When in the battlefield, Ludus creates a high-risk high-reward situation to both the player those facing against him. If left alone, Ludus can snowball quickly due to the gold bounty he earns through his passive, alternatively - activating his Tag! ability will force his enemy into either play his game to control the lane or let Ludus dominate the lane as he catches the tagged units. In addition to his games, Ludus's Roulette Draw, when timed correctly could save an allied champion or stun an enemy champion if needed, to maximize the potential of this ability, farming while Roulette Draw is active will draw out the gold potential from his Game On! passive.

His 3rd Ability, Guess Floor, allows you to lockdown an enemy unit in fear of being damaged or knocked up by if they happened to be lucky, they could potentially spell worst for Ludus and his allies.

Ludus's Ultimate, Grand Prize, places a nice little bounty on your opponents head for a duration and netting Ludus and his allies some nice extra gold on top of the debuff inflicted.

If used all together, Ludus can activate his Grand Prize to quickly mark his opponents and strategize with his allies while blocking them off with Guess Floor, in unlucky - they could just earn Ludus and his allies a kill. Using Roulette Draw at the right time will stun a target while placing Tag! on an enemy unit will allow you to earn a quick damage to start the fight if needed. Take note that using Tag! in a teamfight would be highly discourage as an enemy champion can quickly tag the enemy unit and earn themselves a quick heal. So the solution to this is to thin out the enemy forces allowing you to lessen the chances of the enemy champion getting your tag.

That ult is genius :O but would much better fit as a passive like Kindreds mark...As an ult its just not powerful enough...

Thank you for the feedback, while did thought of that before - I find it that in a team clash wherein you get a number of champions available, you could potentially mark 3 champions you want with the right cast (since I'd imagine his ultimate as a large AoE spell) rather than a randomly marking enemy champions all across the map (3 of which may or may not even be in your sight) so that would ruin his potential. I would consider up'ing the debuffs provided by his ultimate by I'll wait for more feedback.

Thanks again!
