I had a pretty decent idea this morning, i think. I would like to create an App thatll help people with last hitting minions.

heres the gist.

Pick your champ, the app will take into attack speed and minion health, As well as items you have equipped.

I would like to use in game footage, (which i would attain myself)

There would be a tutorial mode minions would flash yellow at the opprotune time

a Speed mode * quickened version of the game, *

and a normal mode *actual speed of in game up to 45 minutes.

Ill send an email as well in case I dont get red text on here.

If you're reading this thumb up if you like the idea, if you dont like the idea please tell me why in the comments below:)

This is a decent idea.

It would take a ton of work to complete it though

You can make this all, but Riot doesn't allow you to interface with the game itself, so you'd have to build the entire game structure from scratch, and that might have legal issues...and also be incredible hard to get right, since minion AI and patching AI play a large part in last-hitting.

There were two out there, but there was a huge rift on reddit last year and one got shut down. They aren't bad.

Here's the API Riot gives access to: https://developer.riotgames.com/api/methods As you can see for yourself, nothing to do with what's happening in the game as it's happening. Not even a way to process the spectator data as it comes.

What you'd be doing would be hacking the client. From a thread someone else made about scripts and how they work, you'd have to re-hack it every time a patch came out. Patches come out every 2-weeks, with hotfixes that could also break your program being released in-between those times.

Your speed up mode would require your program to act as the League of Legends server, so you'd have to rebuild that from scraped network traffic and patch notes.

TL;DR: No, you won't get Riot's blessing to make this. They won't punish you or your users should you succeed, so long as it's limited to some type of custom game (which, once again, you'll have to figure out how to set up), but they won't support you in it.
