Riot can we please get more emotes on the wheel? Here I even designed it for you.

With the amount of emotes introduced into the game, and the varying scenarios in which emotes are used, I don't believe 5 emote slots suffices. I would like to see the 4 outer spots to be split into cardinal directions (Nw N Ne E SE S Sw W) to allow for 8 spots around the outer ring.

For people that feel 5 spots is enough for them, and 9 is overkill, they could add a slider in the settings that let you pick 1, 5, or 9 emote slots for your preference.

Maybe the button in the middle should just be a vertical line.

Dunno if I like the southwest to northeast vibe.

Would prefer just a left or a right.

Maybe even just leave the middle button as one emote. instead of splitting it into 2.

Still a great idea though, take my upvote.

Yeah, I agree maybe make it 4 on the right and 4 on the left so it's not as weird directions with a straight ververtical line in the middle. I think that would feel better but idk

The "issue" of it being too many options doesn't really matter. The person in question can just set the same emote to cover multiple slots so it occupies the same space it would in the old system.

However, people will find a reason to complain about almost anything... so having too many slots available for emotes would be a problem for someone.

I want the fucking "VISION HERE" ping on the Ping Wheel. I don't care that much about the emotes, but dammit all, they need to give us all the pings in one space so I don't have to specifically hotkey one that's UBER CRITICAL to communication.

Eh. I'd remove the split for the middle emote. Most people put their most-used emote there so it's faster to use, because it's press <button>, move mouse slightly, release <button>, allowing for easier, faster, thought-free BMing.

Other than that, good, though!

Hell id'e just like if they fixed emotes period. Half my games when i bring up the emote menu it's just blank. Like come on. It's been broken for months and still not fixed xD.

Nice work though. But i doubt they'd ever use it simply because it takes effort and work to add in. And we all know Riot hates work.

I'd like their artist to pick up my layout, but use their color scheme.. the gold would stand out too much imo. It'd be cool if the color of the UI changed with your rank tho

One is not worth the energy to add more slots lol.

It isnt hard to hit the right direction. After a few games it'll be natural to say "Oh jinx laughing emote is top right."

I'm not in love with the idea of needing to be more precise, with how it is currently you need to only know it's general direction with this one you designed more care would be needed to select the right one, less adrenaline friendly, last thing I want to do is sit there for a solid minute trying to to slow down to get the exact emote I want. While I do play skill shot heavy champs, I'm not in love with the idea of 'skill shoting' my emotes.

Its a non-changing radial menu. Games have used them for YEARS.

Think of equipment wheels, weapon wheels. They are everywhere. It becomes second nature after just a couple games. It's not about being precise, you just have to click in the general direction you want.

Top right = jinx laughing. Bottom left = angry bee Center button is blitzcrank questionmark.

If you don't have problems with the current 4 direction emote wheel, the 8 direction emote wheel won't cause you problems either. If you DO have problems with the current 4 direction wheel, then maybe League isn't a great game for you :P

I never said I had a problem with it, you started the discussion because you had a problem with it, so your comment about something not being great for somebody because of something so arbitrary applies more to you rather than me. [slayer-jinx-wink]

I wouldn't even ask riot to make 9 an option, because that would be too distracting and too cluttered not to mention the size the wheel would have to be for it to be practicable.

Many people enjoy them, myself included. So i think complete removal is a terrible idea.

However there is a mute function so you dont have to see them in game^.^

Wooxer does present a reasonable argument - Getting emotes, worth less than even CHROMAS, out of Hextech chests feels absolutely horrid.

Honestly, I would not mind the release of Chromas via Hextech (Ruby excluded of course, gold might be included as Mythic skins are possible drops too.)

I can see the frustration, but as someone that uses emotes ALOT, I think I get more usage in one game with new emotes, than I do in months of playing with chromas.
