Does J4 Jungle still work?

Can someone please give me some tips on J4 Jungle? It used to work really well but ever since the new jungle came out, early game has been a nightmare with J4. Usually I'll be caught up with the other players at around mid game, but still, its really frustrating to hear those assistance pings, and not be able to gank because I'm level 3-4 and the enemy laners are level 6-8. The number of times I got executed in the jungle is more than in the entire season 4. And most of my executions are with J4. So can someone help? Or does J4 JG just not work anymore? I'm still getting good scores and performing well late game, but early game is a nightmare.

J4 is still jungled. He and Lee are two of the most played. Early game is a nightmare for just about everyone in the new jungle, for some it's a night terror. Camps just deal a stupid amount of damage for your first few clears and it's incredibly easy to fall behind in terms of experience.

One of the biggest mistakes i still see people make is starting gromp/blue then dying to red because they don't understand that smiting red gives you an immediate, substantial heal. Going to die? Smite it early. problem solved.

J4 is probably top 3 junglers ATM. Very very very good
