Honestly this skin is worth a price bump to up the quality. It's very lackluster when her orbs don't match.
I would not mind paying a little bit more to enjoy this beauty at its full potential.
Any non-purple Syndra skin won't work with black-purple orbs, they stay on the field too long.I would much rather pay for this, even if it was just a ball recolor and not those sexy diamonds.

It sucks so much but they virtually always say no.
Look at the new Singed Skin & Marauder Ashe.
They refuse to up pricing tier or recolor particles after the fact.
They don't give af about our wants when it comes to pre-shipment 19x/20.
Then you see they actually took feedback for Debonair Galio but hardly touched him after the fact & actually made him worse in a way (the purple looks awful)... critique was still overwhelmingly negative despite what KateyKhaos said & they refused to work on it further because of things like "pipeline" and "the artists are satisfied."
What else is stupid is how many skins Ezreal has now on so many other champions & how only one of his skins has altered particles (PFE) yet he has some of the greatest potential for particle touches with his beams.
Also, how they've refused to give Bandit Sivir her 5th prong on her blade back & won't give refunds for disliking it now. That's literally the only reason I owned the skin but they don't give af again.
Lastly, how they've essentially described recoloring particles as "intensive" because they're working with multiple layers of particles in Photoshop (really now, how many extra layers can there be, and it's not like it's very difficult to work those sliders til you find a shade you like). It's complete bs.
Now this... this is what we wanted.
Before a red comes in and attempts to pretend that they can't change it, take a moment to remember when they tweaked the particles of nauts 750 skin because the normal one ruined the feel of the skin and clashed pretty bad. Don't get excited though; they tweaked naut but refused to change the color of 'dark ashes' florescent blue arrows. "we cant change it, though". "but you guys did it for naut?". "yeah, but the purple sphere's dont detract anything from the skin".
I would've never guessed that she's a card related skin with original orbs. She really needs to be improved

Regardless, yes, Riot really needs to make her orbs match. It doesn't make sense otherwise.
I don't like the hair, but I agree, the orbs for diamonds swap is a must.
HAIR! She so, so needed hair. I honestly couldn't care less about her actual abilities, although I do think her outfit could use a little more purple. No, I love Syndra's hair; and the whole Evil Queen coif thing she had going on was not making me happy. I have both Syndra skins, but I need MOREEEE
While it would be interesting, there would definitely be readability problems with her spheres... since they aren't spheres. EVEN if they could work around it, and make the diamonds somehow spherical, Riot has a history of not backing down from a 750 RP pricetag, so they won't be making any changes to her particles, no matter how much we want it! Which really sucks, considering this is her BIG SKIN and now she won't get one for a while because they wanted to create a 750 for her.
The hair would be a nice addition, though, and would only count as a model thing and thus could be under the 750 RP umbrella.
I love the idea of changing the orbs to diamonds. Honestly I would much rather pay a little more to get a great skin that changes the feel of a champion rather than to buy a low price recolor that doesn't deliver that "wow" aspect. At least a recolor of her orbs to a red color would help this skin.
I wish they would just do something about her

I don't like the idea of price ranges holding skins back.
If has the potential to be a better skin, up the price, and let it shine.
Syndra's orbs are as central to her look and design as Orianna's ball is to Orianna. every Orianna skin i've ever seen has a different ball, regardless of how many RP it costs, even the ones that are 520RP.
i don't disagree with the pricing rules for skins, but with Syndra, her particles are part of her core outfit, not accessories, and they should be reclassified as an exception. at least in cases where brutally tacky colour schemes are the alternative.
If they can give Shaco/Morde new particles, at least a different colour for Syndra's spheres. There's not enough purple in the model for the particles to go together. Even if they don't give her diamond particles (clarity/deadline etc), Riot could maybe put some red diamonds on her spheres but not sure how this would look in-game.
The Syndra community isn't exactly huge but this board and the comments on the YouTube video of the spotlight for the skin are heavily sided with doing something with her spheres. The model is great though, imo.
This is a really good idea. The skin is just too plain right now. This skin has to compete with Justicar and Atlantean Syndra which both have different particle effects so it just doesn't stand up.
I have no clue why they didn't do diamond balls...
I'd happily pay 1350 for that skin.
Right now, as a diamond-level Syndra main, I'm considering not buying the current version of the skin.

I love the way this looks even more than it is now. At the very least, I want them to keep her hair. She looks so... egh with the cowl.

Riot said they won't do this because it's a 750 RP skin and it would take too much time and testing. Meanwhile: New effect for Warden Nautilus' shield New effect for Warden Sivir's boomerang New effect for SSW Talon's shurikens New effect for Wild Card Shaco's box and shiv New effect for King of Clubs Mordekaiser's Mace and Ult Plus multiple color tweaks on just about all of them Many of these were added after the original versions were added to the PBE.

Particles? Yes please. Hair? I don't feel like the hair is really needed on the skin that much.

Riot really dropped the ball with this one. Not only is it not as cool with the purple balls, but it contrasts extremely poorly. You'd have to be color blind to not be offended by it.
The only issue I see with it is that Riot has such a RED IS BAD BLUE IS GOOD mentality with things, meaning that when this skin is on the field you will have allies trying to dodge your diamonds since they can't tell them from an enemies. Or at least that's the argument I imagine they'll whip out to say why they can't do it
