-Numbers Are Not Final, just there for an example- . . . .

Merrala, The Witch Saint Support/Mage

----Passive: Martyr's Blessing- When Merrala takes damage from her own abilities, she gains increased health regen based on the damage taken. If she takes over 20% of her max health under 1 second, she also gains a shield for the amount taken for 3 sec. (Replaces the health she lost)(She is not shielded if she dies)

<Frailty- Merrala receives 10% less resistances from items (This is an optional addition to her passive in case her building a lot of tank resistances would turn out OP on her, which it could)>

----Q: Witch Bolt- Merrala casts a bolt of energy, dealing 25/50/75/100/125 (.7 AP) magic damage to the first enemy struck and slowing them by 30% for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds, the target detonates dealing damage to enemies around them and slowing them for 2 seconds.

----W: Share the Pain- Ally Active – Merrala links herself to an ally (cooldown ~30 sec). 5/10/15/20/25% of their damage taken is taken by Merrala instead, stopping when she's below 15% of health. (Edited) Enemy Active – Merrala links to an enemy champion for 4/4/5/5/6 seconds. They take 30/35/40/45/50% of her damage taken through the duration. (cooldown ~22-16 sec)

----E: Martyr- Merrala jumps to a location, intercepting 1 spell/ability, stopping it even if it goes through units. She takes 30/28/26/24/22% extra damage from the spell/ability. Can leap over walls.
Passive can trigger off of this. If she's killed by Martyr, the nearest ally (global) is shielded for 50/60/70/80/90% of the damage taken and Merrala's death timer is lessened.

----R: Pain and Suffering- Merrala has 2 bars: 1 for mana and 1 for Pain. (Passive starts at level 1)

Passive: Merrala builds Pain every time an ally champion, inlcuding herself, takes damage. Pain builds infinitely, but degrades if no damage is taken around her for a period of time (ex. 6 sec). If Merrala runs out of mana, she may use Pain to fuel her spells at double the cost.

Active: Merrala channels all of her Pain into energy and fires it in a line that explodes in a small area when it hits the first enemy champion. Enemies take x damage, where x = the amount of pain + (.5 ap) and displaces them slightly in the direction of Merrala.

. . . .

A sacrificial support is something that isn't in the game, but definitely has a place, and I think having it be an older 'witch' that sacrifices herself for you would be a good twist. It's different from a crone casting curses and hexes, which Riot has said they don't want to do if they do a 'witch' champion.

Feedback is appreciated!

Really love this concept but I think the W Active may cause some problems (remember Tahm Kench when he could eat people even if they were recalling?) Instead maybe make her W Active this? binds herself with a targeted ally, she may cast it again within x amount of minutes (or non if you want) and then her ally takes the damage for her, then getting rid of the binding. You can keep the passive but this helps the support player have control of who they are taking in damage for.
