Illusionist Champion Concept

I don't have numbers for any of the abilities, but the idea is there. I wanted to make a 'safe' mage/assassin, both from a character and gameplay standpoint. Character wise, I see her as an opportunist when looking for targets. She wouldn't do anything too risky out of fear. Gameplay wise, without her illusions, she'll be significantly weaker, since she can't swap between them to confuse opponents and would lack their extra damage. She would be incredibly fragile and rely on her trickery to keep her safe.

Megora, the Illusionist; Mage/Assassin

-Passive: Minor Illusions- Megora spawns Illusions after every 4th spell cast. Illusions follow Megorah around and take part in spells and attack her targets (deal 20% damage of auto attacks). Illusions last until killed. Can only have 1/2/3 Illusions at a time(levels 1, 9, 16). Illusions have X% of her health.

-Q: Lay Groundwork- Megora, or her illusion(s), blinks forward and deals x damage to nearby enemies and applying Phobia to all hit after 1 second. Multiple hits deal bonus damage. Phobia lasts for 10 seconds.

-W: Trick Steps- Megora swaps places with an Illusion. Has charges equal to the number of Illusions active.

-E: Play with their Fears- Megora and her Illusions send out a short cone of magic that deals x damage and slows the target by x amount for 2 seconds. If Phobia is active, the targets are feared for 1 second and slowed for 2 seconds after. Only the real Megora can fear enemies. Illusions only deal damage an slow for 1 second.

-R: Traitor- Megora and her Illusions become blurred and gain x movespeed for 5 seconds. During this time, she and her Illusions cannot be targeted by spells and auto-attacks (AoE can still hit them) and her next attack blinks her, or the illusions, to the target, dealing significant damage and applying Phobia to them. After 2 seconds, the target's Phobia detonates, fearing themselves and anyone around them in an area. If Phobia is already on the target, they detonate immediately in a greater area.

I think fearing someone is something that doesn't happen too much in league. Really, only Fiddle, Warwick, Shaco, and Nocturne...I think...do it to champions, so one that revolves around it would be interesting.

Feedback is appreciated!

I'm going to assume that this champion is ranged due to its safe nature. If that's the case, I wouldn't really play this champion as a mage/assassin; rather it would be more abuse-able as an on-hit DPS ADC. Not only does she have 2060% extra damage per auto attack, but she also has three mobility spells, two sources of Hard CC, and untargetability. In addition, if her illusions can proc on-hit effects, she can gain more illusions 24 times as fast by auto attacking as well as abusing the full effect of Runaan's Hurricane, Guinsoo's Rageblade, Wit's End, and BotRK.

Don't want to rain on parade as I LOVE hyperthetical creations (I make ones too :D - though more rework existing than completely new ideas), but this sounds a LOT like some good ideas for a rework for Leblanc who IS considered THE mage/assassin illusionist in the game - in gameplay and Lore.

I do agree fear is rare, and I think it COULD exist more. Especially misdirection champs. Currently Leblanc doesn't do it enough - she has it for her passive and Ult and thats it. And while I DO like Leblanc global double Ult, but it dispels so fast it's not the most effective. And her passive is... well dull.

I do like the idea of creating "phobia" and then exploiting them to cause fear. Kinda feels like Evelyn's new charm - letting you know to be afraid cause death is coming.

I also like the "shell-game" of the illusions. Thats a nice mechanic. However, how do you choose WHICH illusion, and how do you control where the illusion is for best placement?

I do like some ideas here, but again - feels like a Le-Blanc rework than a new champ.
