Why don't we have a whip wielding champion?

I know riot doesnt take any champion concepts, but maybe an ad based mid laner or adc with a hybrid ranged- melee range kinda like thresh or urgot.

This guy I on the right track. If Riot ever makes a whip champion (and I think it won't happen, although I do think that it would be cool) they would have to be very careful about how they implement it.
Whips can be considered controversial if seen in the wrong light. There are many different ways that a whip wielding champion could elicit a lot of trouble and controversy.

Dunno, haven't been following it much ever since I heard it was cancelled due to THQ bankruptcy, Vigil Games got transferred to Crytek, and presumably, Darksiders license too.
But I really don't know, I am just waiting with hope here.
