Lore:

Jim was born just 1 year before Annie in the newly made home. He grew to love to learn about dark and scary things. He eventually became so power hungry, his parent put a restraint on how much he could learn. But Jim had already grown to much by this time. He practiced an art that would allow him to control things at his will. His powers grew too powerful and too fast. Jim was only 5 at this time.

When Jim began to go to a newly built school, there he met Annie, the Dark Child. He instantly envied her yet couldn't get her out of his mind. Her powers out matched his own and yet all she cared for was to play and have fun. In challenges, Annie would always be the better. Then came the time for showing control over objects, Jim showed his skills but that was until Annie showed her bear Tibbers and bested Jim at the last thing he could stand. Jim went into the forest and searched for an animal of his own. He then found Baw. Jim was now only 6.

Baw was a spirit of a snake that had been able to grow to a monsterous size but died in the Shadow Isles on accident. Now forced to travel the earth with no real form, he eventually came to Jim. He went into Jims body intending to take it for his own only to be surprised when Jim effortlessly kicked the snake out of his mind.

Jim learned of the snakes past when it entered his mind. He gave the snake a bargain, Jim will allow Baw, what he named the snake, to have a form only if he obeys Jim's requests. Baw reluctantly agrees and Jim then makes a small golden snake which he sealed the snake into. Baw, intending to betray Jim, could not hurt Jim while in the golden snake body. But could leave and go back into the golden snake whenever he pleased.

Years went by and Jim eventually went to the League.

(The way this works with his Q/ W/ & R is for 1 attack, they gain the bonus depending on what they attack. If they attack a minion, it only deals 10% increase. As with the others. The ability cannot be used again regularly though and must have the 10 second restriction so that there isn't a Q attack with a bonus of 10% or greater then use a W with a 10% or greater and so on.)

[Q] Puppetier Jim takes control of 1 nearby minion giving it an added 20/45/75/110/150 (+20% ability power) amount of health with a bonus of 4/6/10/16/24 (+5% current damage) for the next 5 seconds. Baw has a mind of his own and will attack any enemy, but will stay in range of Jim. Cost: 50 mana Range 690 Cool Down: 15 seconds

[E] Tangled Jim flings mana strings at an enemy to snare them for 0.5/1/1.5/2/2.5 seconds and have a small explosion that deals 20/30/40/50/60 (+80% ability power) worth of damage. Used on Baw Jims sends Baw to tie up an enemy for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds and deals 20/35/50/65/80 (+80% ability power) worth of damage. Used with Minion Jim sends the Minion at an enemy causing an explosion of 25/40/55/70/85 (+80% ability power) damage and then stuns the enemy for 1.5 seconds. I know what you're trying to say but if you remember, Mordekaiser 's ultimate deals damage over 10 seconds and gains control over the enemy for 30 seconds. Mine only goes up to 15 seconds.

Also, just like Mordekaiser's ultimate, you don't use their abilities. I thought it was a little obvious.

And stopping a player for any amount of time is also not fun either... That's why the time limit isn't as long. And it costs a lot.

I'm sorry but i need to interject here... did you just compare Mordekaisers, damage over 10 seconds (which has many counter plays) to your suppression AND control for max 15 seconds? lets compare...

Mordekaiser

  • Damage over time
  • Healing for damage done

both effects are counter-able... the first being the more obvious, healing effects could negate this. Enough healing could save an Enemies life, possible counter. Also has one full counter item (to my knowledge) Quicksilver Sash. SO you get this item and during lane phase his ult is useless, full counter. Zonyas hourglass is another Partial item counter, partial counter.

BONUS effect

  • If the target dies while under the effect of the curse, their soul is enslaved as a controllable ghost and will follow Mordekaiser for 30 seconds.

As a bonus for having a targeted champion die he gets to control the spirit. they also get bonuses to their stats in the form of...

Health: The enslaved champion's total health plus 15% of Mordekaiser's total health.

Attack Damage: The enslaved champion's base AD at lvl. 1 plus its bonus AD from items and 75% of Mordekaiser's total AD.
Ability Power: The enslaved champion's AP plus 75% of Mordekaiser's AP.
Movement Speed: The enslaved champion's base movement speed plus the bonus from Mordekaiser's boots.
Leash Range: 1125

So, a decent bump to the ghosts health (cause Mord builds health), A slight buff to their attack(maybe), Bonus AP, and a normal MS. so all in all a slightly improved version of said champion

Your champion

  • 7-15 second suppression
  • 7-15 second control over target
  • 7-15 second displacement
  • Medium Bonus health
  • Large Bonus Attack
  • 50% reduction to all incoming damage
  • 75% reduction of damage from jungle creatures

So you get all those benefits, instantly, from a point and click ability. 7-15 seconds of making someone do nothing from a click. in those 7-15 seconds, a 4v5-6 team fight is over and you can probably place your target in a horrible position for them where they WILL die after. Plus they effectively have TWICE their health since it now takes 2 times the damage to kill them. AND they are stronger while under your control. How can you sit there and tell us that your ability is not broken? It's the definition of broken. You might have designed a champ that seems cool but you failed in one, HUGE, test that most people forget about, and seemingly bypassed some others.

TEST

  1. Is this champion fun to play as? (done)
  2. Is this champion fun to play against (failed)
  3. Are there counters to this champion? (incomplete)
  4. Are abilities and costs balanced? (incomplete)
  5. How could this champion be abused? Is there a way i can stop that abuse? (incomplete)

I myself have created a concept for a puppet master themed champion. I have had this concept in development for a year and a half, sitting in my computer, tweaking, and trying to balance. I Published her, and got some mixed reviews... even some pointers that i overlooked. I changed her ultimate, taking the advice of another person on the forums. I can say this much, three of our abilities are seemingly similar (your W is like my W, your E is like my Q, and your ult is similar to my ult), but I try my best to keep it balanced with current champions, my own works, and what people are saying... tomorrow (after sleeping) i will be back here to review everything, i will point out the flaws and even offer suggestions if i feel like they may be needed. Ultimately, whether this champion concept succeeds or fails is based on how much work you are willing to put in.

...That ultimate is literally completely gamebreaking.

You have it LITERALLY take control of an enemy/ally/derpy meh snake. If done on an ally, congrats, you are now a troll, since I doubt you can position both yourself and an adc at once. If used on an enemy, congrats, you have literally killed them, since you control them for 7 seconds, more then enough time for them to die to your team.

Plus, it's one of the few non form-changing ultimates you don't want to level, since an increasing cooldown on your instant kill spell is bad.

Okay, look at it this way. Anything that has the result of taking control of an enemy champion is going to be gamebreakingly overpowered, no matter what. Making them immune to damage from you for that time just means your best option is to take control, put them way deep under a turret or in a mob of you, then murder them as soon as it wears off. All this does is delay the time until they get murdered.

Otherwise, giving a really weak hp + AD buff to allies seems like basically a much weaker lulu ult.

Bro, This champ is majorly broken. His ult is compelely op and dont compare it to Mordekaiser becasue u have to kill them to get the clone. Just walking into a fight and instanly changing ti to a 4 v 6 from a 5 v 5 is completely op.

Okay lets get started...

Passive : this passive is a really strong passive. Comparing it to other increase in damage it is amongst one of the strongest... You get a 15% increase in damage from abilities. assume you can use thing just under 4 times a minute... if you constantly hit with your Q you add nearly 60% to its damage/minute...

Q : this ability seems interesting. You will be able to start a lane phase with more threat potential... the problem comes with cannon minions... you will have 2 of them, one being stronger... there in lies a problem... though not a super huge one... It has no real counter, and is a relatively safe ability... plus the way i interpret your passive the minion gets bonus damage till killed.... there in lays a bigger problem... and don't even get me started on super minions.

W : at level one you get a superior minion, with a base duration equal to it's cool down. So in theory you will never not have your puppet forever. In theory only though. With every ability having a built in steroid for him and increases his time spent out. this ability can bu used in every single way possible, no limitations. It can add pressure to your lane, help you in the jungle even help push towers... It's like an uncontrolled mini Shaco ult... with a longer duration.

E : This ability is the most balanced of all the ones you have. A snare with a medium-low AOE damage (how big?) also allows you to sort of control your minion... and deals more damage, is it per attack? or just as a damage total? The minion part is confusing... does it have to reach the champion to stun, is the champion stunned upon activation? do they stun due to the explosion? It has a lot going on...

R : well you already heard everything i had to say, so to sum it up... turn any fight into a 6v4 and make it an instant win fight. it is a broken ability on a champion who is kind of a confusing but seemingly strong champion.
