Xerin- The Volatile Mage

Xerin is mage who's power manifests as a volatile substance that oozes from his limbs that has a green glow to it. In game he is a melee mage who would probably be a mid or top laner.

My goals for this concept are to -Make a mage that is not frustrating in top lane -Make a top lane champion that subverts the counterpick meta as best as possible

Attack range: 125

Passive: Slow Burn Xerin's basic attacks grant him a stack of Slow Burn for 2 seconds. Each basic attack refreshes this stack as well as giving him another stack. Upon reaching three stacks of Slow Burn he gains 10-27% (levels 1-18) bonus attack speed and each basic attack deals an additional 20-190 (levels 1-18)+(25% ability power) magic damage. This effect will remain until Xerin stops attacking for 3 seconds.

Q: Volatile Projectile Xerin generates and throws an orb of his magic in a target direction. This deals 70/110/150/190/230+(55% ability power) damage and slows the enemy's attack speed by 15% for 3 seconds. range: 550 cooldown: 9

W: Caustic Ground Xerin spreads caustic magic upon the ground in front of him for 3 seconds. The magic deals 20/40/80/100/120+(25% ability power) damage every second. Enemies that move away from Xerin while in the area are slowed by 50%. cooldown: 17/16/15/14/12 area range: 450 width: 200

E: Acidity Xerin empowers his basic attacks for 4 seconds. Every basic attack will afflict and enemies with a burn effect that deals 20/30/40/50/60+(20% ability power) damage over the next 2 seconds. The burn effect's damage is increased by 50% when Xerin is empowered by Slow Burn. cooldown: 6 (starts after effect has ended)

R: Caustic Spring Xerin channels for 0.75 seconds, after which he enchants the ground around him with his magic for 5 seconds. The area around him will deal 40/80/120+(30% ability power) damage every second. area of effect: 500 cooldown: 130/110/90

**Pros ** Powerful DOT High Damage Decent in 1v1

Cons Not tanky Ult requires wind up No self sustain

seems like you already know the pros and cons of your work which is good so let me keep it brief.

Xerin needs more movement or position altering skills for example

this is so he could chase his enemies and engage in a fight Also maybe add some CC for example

W: Caustic Ground/**Passive ** after dealing 600 damage to an enemy champion in 10s (just random numbers) they get stunned for 1.5s. cant occur on the same target for 8s

this goes with the idea to make him high damage. so he gets a reward for dealing a lot of damage in a small amount of time.
